From last week’s podcast: Fahim Saleh, 33, was found dead in his Lower East Side luxury apartment. He had been dismembered and decapitated just below the knees, both shoulders and the neck. An electric saw was still plugged into the wall when police arrived. His personal assistant, 21-year-old Tyrese Haspil, allegedly embezzled $100,000 from his boss. Haspil was seen buying an electric saw and cleaning supplies from a hardware store hours before Saleh was found dead.

Fahim Saleh was a distant relative of mine. I can tell you that his family is devastated after the loss. He had the potential to achieve so much more.

First degree murder in NYS is only for crimes against first responders and some other job titles.
Whatever happened to Tyrese Haspil? There is no follow up information on Tyrese and it has been over two years since he committed the crime. Did Tyrese go to prison? Did Tyrese get life in prison? Or maybe Tyrese was turned loose on the streets again as they do so often with criminals today. No mercy or excuses for Tyrese. Tyrese is a stupid psycho who was born evil. That is why he was not wanted when he was growing up.
