The charges only happened because of the pressure outside of Gilbert. These were affluent kids with parents that will always cover for them. Most will be let off with lower charges. It's horribly sad.

The home owners need to be investigated. Idc how many people were at your house. Your house your responsibility to keep it under control and fueling the fire by allowing rich teens to drink at your house is a recipe for disaster. There were Reddit threads saying the homeowners were closing the garage doors and cleaning up the beer before cops came. Like whaaaaaat?! It’s now a crime scene don’t touch anything much less clean up.

I have been a Gilbert Az resident from 2007. My son attended a local jr high school where we realized he was badly bullied his 8th grade year. We received no help from the school principal unless our son would give names. I don’t know what kind of hold these bullies now have but our son would not reveal names at any cost. So therefore no help from the school. I believe this is how the Goons have been able to grow in our community. Also public schools struggling with how to navigate social media bullying. It’s a HUGE problem!
