A Florida teen called 911 and said an intruder broke into her family’s home on July 6. Sixteen-year-old Julia Egler allegedly made up a story about hiding in her room while an intruder murdered her mother and the mother’s boyfriend. Kelley McCollom and Matthew Szejnrok were found dead when police arrived at the Palm Beach home. That’s when Julia’s story started to fall apart. Edit: It's becoming more common because we are holding adults and children less and less accountable for their actions. We are constantly making excuses for people and frankly being TOO understanding. People need to get used to the word no, to failing , to dealing with frustrations and disappointments. Unfortunately, society today seems to be challenge averse. Like if you aren't bending over backwards to accommodate people then they are entitled to act out.

So her son that had mental issues was not treated. The mother under the umbrella of caring chose to play to her child's delusion rather that get him treatment. So he killed his mom. This child should have been getting mental health treatment from the moment his mother knew he wanted to be a girl, not dosed on female hormones to make the problem worse.
