  1. in county jails, deputies put on those gloves before beating an inmate to protect their hands from injuries but the main reason is to minimize potential evidence of beating or manhandling an inmate. then they put the inmate in solitary confinement until the bruises are gone as well.

  2. This one, and the one about how the cop threw her head first into pavement, were just too much. It truly broke my heart to see what was done to these victims…and they are far from being the only ones this has happened to. I could guess that this happens a lot. 😢

  3. You knows its funny what are the mental qualifications to become a cop . Is there a line on there that says are you a tough guy willing to beat up the elderly and mentally handicapped .They just couldn't just wall away knowing they had no proof the old man said any thing about a gun . I know this guy is young but what do they teach these guys the first book of the SS .

  4. This is why you need to watch the videos to the end hearing that you personally have taken this case warms my heart I know you will go above and beyond for this man. You are my knight in shining armor. 💜💙💚 Getter done 🤣🤣 and please tell me you can make sure there's discipline or you can get especially that one officer fired for excessive use of force with bodily injury.😢

  5. For a prosecutor to see that body camera and everything done illegally violating this man's rights and he tried to overturn the judge's decision. He has no business being a prosecutor he works for the people as well He's supposed to make sure our rights are protected as well and he ignored everything the officers did wrong That's some scary stuff he should be removed from that position He's not qualified.😢

  6. So the officer says Mr knotts has the same Fourth amendment rights as Mr shorter what about all his other rights that they broke. Is he not afforded by law All those other rights. Do they ever listen to themselves when they talk. Do they ever go back and look at their own body cameras and say oh s*** I messed up I violated that man's rights or I did something wrong. No it's called cops playing in and cover up That's what they do😢.

  7. Now Mr shorter claims Mr knots intoxicated you can smell it. Thank God for body cameras. It's clear as day that Mr shorter wanted this outcome and was willing to say whatever needed to be said to make it happen. And here you have dumb and dumber that did not follow the law or policy and kissed his
a$$ providing just that for him. It didn't matter that they just violated Mr Knott's rights and so many different ways and in the get-go everything Mr shorter said was untrue and Mr Knox did absolutely nothing wrong. Even if he was intoxicated he was in his own home on his own property is there a new law saying that we can't get intoxicated on her own property behind our closed doors.

  8. There are very good logical and legal reasons why a law enforcement officer cannot make decisions on property disputes yet he did. Now this elderly man has permanent damage to his body because he would not bow down like a dog to their orders. Isn't it funny the officer was wrong Mr shorter was wrong The property was not his. All this said and done guaranteed neither officer even offered an apology to Mr knots for the simple fact Mr shorter lied about the property being his. 😒 More than likely Mr shorter lied about the threat with the gun as well he just wanted to make sure he got his neighbor arrested because he wasn't getting his way his arrest history kind of makes you see that .

  9. He's your client, so you're going to construe this in the best way possible for him. The alleyway is a red herring, and has nothing to do with this, it is clearly on the back of the property. The man claims the 20' ROW is his, but that isn't clear from the plat. To actually own the ROW (it's labeled as a street) he or a previous owner would have had to vacate the street. Vacating the ROW would almost certainly not give him the whole ROW end to end. The ROW would be returned to the previous owners wherever it was vacated. Ie, the ROW in front of the neighbor's house should now belong to his neighbor if it was actually vacated. I've developed RE in a lot of states, I've vacated streets and alleys and ROWs and am very familiar with the process.

The real issue here is that he is claiming the car is blocking a driveway access onto his property, which would not be allowed even if your client is parked in the street, and if true he could take this to court (no the cops shouldn't settle this beyond asking the neighbor politely if he'd be willing to move it to end the dispute, if not, tell the guy to settle it in court) and if he continues could start having the vehicle towed, or potentially drag your client into court for civil contempt. I can't see the driveway access he's talking about from the views provided in the body cam, it may not even exist, in which case your client would be completely within the law, even if he's being a pest lol.

  10. So the insecure bully cops that pick on someone weaker, can read a plat survey but not the constitution? I see a new block wall on the property line in this man's future. That police dept. is corrupt all the way to the top.

  11. Dismissal of Mr Knox charges is not enough. Both officers should be fired and brought up on charges of assault and battery, trespassing, abuse of the elderly, false arrest and violating Mr Knox’s civil rights.

  12. I hope you get that man paid $$$$. As a former deputy sheriff and detective I'm embarrassed by these deputies. I've watched so many videos where cops know less about the law and civil rights than the people they come in contact with on a daily basis.
