This Week on True Crime Daily The Podcast: How one man stole art masterworks worth an estimated $2 billion. 1. Fascinating story! Michael is a fantastic story teller! I was hanging on to every word! I'm shocked the mother did not get much of a punishment considering she did what is even worse – she destroyed the works of art! I enjoy art, but have to admit I've never been much of a museum goer but I was horrified hearing of the art work getting destroyed!

  2. That’s lame! How could she not read the book before interviewing the author about the book? I’m not giving her a pass, nor should anyone else (so please don’t bother coming to her rescue). It’s unacceptable. I expect more. Indeed, this is the most basic due diligence.

  3. The President needs to go to a old folks home. He's not in the right mind to be in the position he's in. Best thing for America is for Joe to step down and let someone with some brain cells do the job correctly

  4. Next time you should take the time to read the book before you interview the author. It looks lazy and disrespectful to me. At least you were honest but I bet the author felt disrespected hearing that from you. It was just a sorry intro to start the interview. Why would anybody want to finish listening to this podcast if you didn't find it interesting enough to read his book?

  5. What an incredible interview and amazing story! I wish it was hours long. Michael is so enthusiastic and such a fabulous story teller! I must get this book. Now I will hear his voice in reading it.

  6. Ann, haha the garbage disposal is a American suburban thing. lol And OMG the mom was the real crook… just by having him she destroyed so much history lol woooooow. But the biggest punishment was him losing everything. But hey. Karma is per individual, we couldn't expect a lovely ending no matter how intriguing the story is. 😅

  7. Ok, i dont like seeing the bird painting on the floor behind!! Has bugged me for ages!!! BUT today you do a show on art theft, and you have 3 paintings leaning up on top of the bitds 😂😂😂😂😂
