First I saw this, I thought I heard her say, I’m gonna throw this pot of hot water on you. Then he replied, you better not. I asked another person what did she say? Did she say I am gonna throw this pot of hot water on you? Then we rewatched it a few times, and still thought that was what we heard. At that time we still believed there was not sufficient cause to shoot her multiple times as the threat was 12-15 feet away and not facing either officer. When he said you better not, I thought he was telling her not to throw the pot of hot water on them. Sadly, he fired multiple times at a person who was no longer holding the pot. And now she is dead. In this one no one wins. Both lives are ended.
Watching that video broke my heart and made me so angry. Just because she's a black woman who was possibly mentally ill or like ive said plenty of times, could have just had a glass of wine or something. Like she sounded like my mom when she gets a lil drunk. And the fact that the police can come into someone's home, give them an order and then murder them for following it. I know being white im far less likely to experience it but it still happens, the cops brutalize people of all races where i live, just mostly indigenous people because so many of the white people here will assume it's justified. I'm glad he was charged but this never should have happened and its not enough.
Chicken 💩 cops are so scared they have to keep their guns pointed at the woman telling her to “drop the pot” when she’s already laying on the floor bleeding out and the pot not even in her hands.
I thought her rebuke was aimed at the pot!
I have no idea why she moved the pot at all. All she had to do is turn off the burner. Not truly blaming her but it gives them some cause to act.
He surmised in a non hostile environment that he was being threatened.
You give lawyers a bad name in some other footage I saw she clearly grabbed the pot throw it water splashed over the counter right near the officer it llanded by the feet of the officer …now that takes force to throw that water …
So instead of spending 5 seconds of your 14 minutes on the actual aggressive ACT you spend the remaining time arguing how there is no justification and she didn't do squat I suggest you look at the issue in depth or really & consider using little truth and justice to your speech instead of taking one side only and being completely biased.. the aim of justice is to see both sides of the story and that is why you are a pathetic lawyer …
Not once did you mention she disobeyed police orders nor did you mention they said several times to let go of the pot and you falsely say she did not have but then how did said pot end up above her head , said pot still had water in it which you said was poured down the drain and pot splashed over the counter quite a distance from her and closer to the police officer… Come on you fool wake up
Yes they both we're in the wrong the officer used excessive force however she definitely had intent to throw the boiling water over the officer
I hope you never become a judge because you have completely skewed the truth in this instance
So guns are drawn and the cops are telling you to drop a pot that you are not holding. Your first thought is to then pick up the pot????
Unjustified or not that's some sketchy shit.
Cops lie… This is some bullshit and everyone knows… What the fuck are we going to do about it????
@thecivilrightslawyer You missed one thing. There is motive. In first video there is moment when he asks her "Do you need anything else" with raised voice, angry at her. Whatever the reason is, he murders her later for that. We don't know what that is.
Grayson was rude from the moment he was on her porch.
My comment is if they were so worried about the pot of water the second officer should have turned it off while asshole kept his eyes on Massey while she found her ID. They instigated the whole thing.
That cop had intent, just looking for a target.
AGAIN that officer will have the union behind him the order of police and he will probably walk away just like all the others do. Same story..We have reviewed all the body cam footage, along with statements from the officers friends and family and have investigated ourselves with professionalism and have concluded the officers involved are not guilty of any wrongdoing. And it should make everyone mad that this is a repeated pitch by the departments around this country. When will you wake up and realize you don't have rights and are not free??
how is lawsuit going ?
How many situations like this happened before body cams, and the officers word was just taken as fact..?
He was more interested in trying to tag on a crime to her, asking about the car and her mental health. Why it took her a while to answer the door at night time. Waiting for the wrong answer. He was a dangerous cop with skulls tattooed on his arms. He could of been a demon and he wouldnt just back out if he was so scared of boiling water. Just shows he wanted that escalation. I think he was a racist adrenaline junkie. On a power trip. With the knowledge he will be protected by the other cops who wont talk. Black lives matter, it's so true.
Sorry for asking this question here, can anyone educate me about this sister who pass away who she really is thank 🙏
This was a plain cold blooded murder. I have no idea what this officer was thinking. He murders her then directs his partner do not provide medical aide.
Brother let us watch the full video smh police activity best police channel for this reason
This man should have never been a cop!!
MICHAEL get up and help your beautiful Momma!!!! AUFSTEHEN
With in seconds after saying we'll shoot you in the face and then draw.
Dude i had a frying pan thrown at me from that distance.
All i did was move my head.
If she thrown that water it wasn't going to far.
That's sad man.
He was in the living room not the kitchen
