Remember this one fact while being a citizen in da land of da free. Cops can kill you and get paid vacation for doing it. The “constitution” is a piece of paper that has no meaning unless you have tens of thousands to challenge violations through the courts, which are basically institutions created to protect other institutions
25:38 wow. This logic is so dumb. "All he has to do was give us ID and he'd be on his way." Aren't you arresting him on the testimony of a drunk man who described the perp as wearing different clothes and you bring the suspect to him handcuffed and in the back of the police car? So when exactly was his ID gonna "dispel your suspicions" when you already determined he was guilty. Case dismissed according to officer cranky.
Guilty people do withhold idenidentification.
Innocent people that know they did not commit a crime also exercise their rights to not identify.
I hate this automatic assumption that an exercise of your rights makes you guilty in the eyes of a cop.
Oof
How the heck do you find they had probable cause?
That’s a much higher standard and I don’t see how they could have met that. They had no evidence other the hearsay.
The cops lie and focus on arresting ANYBODY remotely possible to fulfill their quotas. The WITNESS clearly said it was NOT the same hoodie, and they ignored him. The witness was stupid and ruined a guys life in such a cavalier way, hopefully he will get Carma over it. ALSO, never wear a black hoodie.
DEI cops, making up the law as they go! What a disgrace. SMH…
"You're obstructing our justice." LOL
Videos like this just show how much people hate the police, no matter what. This is not an audit worthy video.
An employee identified the suspect. A guest identified the suspect. At a bare minimum they had reasonable suspicion. Plain as day.
“ white man in black hoodie, in parking lot, pulling on door handles“.
They find a white man, in a black hoodie, walking through the parking lot. Two people identify him as the person pulling on door handles. What exactly did the police do wrong here? They weren’t polite enough?
There are plenty of other police misbehavior videos out there to choose from. When you’re single out videos where the police actually had the right to detain somebody and get their ID, and then point fingers at the police for doing the wrong thing. Completely discredits police accountability. Y’all gotta do better. This channel just seems to be doing worse, out of laziness.
They wanted it to be that guy so bad. I feel bad for him because I had this happen to me. Sucks because there is nothing u can do at the time. That witness should've been asked if he was wearing glasses. Its very clear these cops are going after easy arrest just to show their worth.
And we're forced to pay for these morons what a joke on America defund all this crap.
They deserve an F because they didn't do an appropriate investigation.
The cops are literally the only problem in this video.
What is reasonable to one who is biased, meaning one favorable to one side over the other?
When the officer says “now we’re going todo a full investigation because you wouldn’t give your ID” blows my mind. She is supposed to investigate before she detains someone lol. She clearly makes it known she’s considering him guilty
Perhaps a cop's favorite phrase — other than asking for ID: "If you had only done what we told you to do …"
All you need to do is give up your freedom your rights and dignity and there’s no problem at all. Do police even know what freedom means because they sure don’t know or care about the constitution
16:10 "now we're going to to do a full investigation"
did she really just say that? so let me get this right so now you're actually going to do your job Lmfao thanks for admit you weren't really doing it before.
I’ll never understand how an ID proves you’re supposed to be somewhere.. bottom of the barrel 😆
Just my opinion, but when a cop starts getting aggressive towards you and making threats, I feel you should comply for your own safety. Make sure you state you are complying for your own safety out of fear of the officer not having control over their own emotions and due to threats made against you.
Once you comply, seek an attorney immediately and file a complaint against the officer(s) and follow it through. Take legal action if warranted.
It was ALL SUPER BIASED!!!! And this Cop Mentality about “Only guilty people don’t ID” is a bootlicking mentality and not a fundamental AND CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT!!! We the People are tired of these TYRANTS HAVE A FIT BC THERE EGO ID QUESTIONED
"Now you're obstructing our justice!" Sad female cop. lol
A C-, the female cop was as unprofessional as it gets. She was nasty, rude and condescending… but worse than that is the fact that none of the officers ever viewed the security tapes. Add to this the fact that the female gossiped with hotel staff, automatically judging him to be guilty… and outright making statements of his guilt, again without ever viewing the tapes. Sure, 100 yrs ago they solved crimes w/out video, as they did before fingerprint technology… but hearing this idiot female saying the tapes weren't needed was a disgrace.
I had to yell over him to violate his rights dumb azz
“You’re obstructing our justice” is the single funniest thing I think I’ve ever heard a cop say.
