TikToker’s Stepdad Tried Murdering Her for ‘Ruining’ His Marriage with Her Mom: Cops – Everything Law and Order Blog

A social media influencer in Miami says she’s lucky to be alive after her estranged stepfather, Luis Damas, allegedly pushed his way into an apartment and shot at her. Eixchel Berroteran and her mother filed a report against Damas, saying he attacked them and shot at Eixchel, before threatening to hire a hitman to kill them. Law&Crime’s Sierra Gillespie spoke with Christine Gallo, a former prosecutor specializing in domestic violence cases, about the claims.

  1. I think she was scared to report him. I had an abusive ex and I didn’t report a lot because I was terrified of him. I had a restraining order and he still came by. I moved to a different state and that is the only reason he isn’t showing up to scare me

  2. It's not insulting to say she was trying to protect her career. She should protect her career like how else are you suppose to pay your bills and eat, which keeps you alive, especially in this economy

  3. That woman was so quick to express her theories, if the victim was worried about their career she would have definitely exposed what happened to her. She's definitely not losing followers because of it. In fact the opposite, she would gain followers, support and traction.

  4. Jealousy is so dangerous…I've said this over and over…when people are jealous of you they will plot against you, sabotage you, cast aspersions on you– so driven by hate they will kill you…sad situation

  5. These women sound a little jealous of this woman's TikTok success. She mentions it constantly and says that is the reason they didn't report it faster. Unless she knows them personally, that is disrespectful.
