Welcome to Crime Watch Daily Updates: Today we’re taking a new look at Catherine Hoggle, a mother charged with murder after her two young children disappeared in 2014. Their bodies remain undiscovered, but Catherine, charged with murder that same year, still needs to be tried.
Police say Catherine was the last person to see 3-year-old Sarah and and 2-year old Jacob alive, and a grand jury indicted Catherine on murder charges in December 2017. In the five years that followed, 19 different assessments found Catherine incompetent to stand trial.
Many are still holding out hope that Catherine, the suspect authorities believe responsible for the likely deaths of Jacob and Sarah, will eventually stand trial. However, the clock is ticking. If Catherine isn’t deemed fit for trial before December 2022, charges against her will have to be dropped under Maryland law.

Catherine’s lawyer & the interviewer both have a wonky eye how weird is that. Well Dad please take your son and move out of the US before his dangerous mom gets out. You can not trust the grandparents the grandfather he let her take his car and your youngest. The grandmother is now saying she thinks the kids are alive.
If she has been totally incompetent all these 5 years and over 20 Dr.assessments she must have been as insane as she looked on the cameras that caught her about town. I wish they would have canceled trash pick up in the county & had everyone check any dumpsters on your property. People searched woods, sheds , alleys, but she didn’t go far when she got rid of the children . Even her parents couldn’t get the truth out of her. She has been mentally ill her whole life ,whatever type she has she can fake being or look normal.
I wonder if the police searched the Chick-fil-A dumpster
My big question is,are there no any CCTV camera or around the area or the roads😢😢😢 maybe they could say or show something 😢😢

I read an article that said her case was thrown out because "Catherine is incompetent for trial and has been ordered to remain in detention at the maximum-security psychiatric hospital where she has been since her arrest nearly eight years ago. The court’s ruling did not let Hoggle off the hook for her alleged crimes and noted that she will remain in detention indefinitely or face new charges. This is not a double jeopardy situation."

I have family members who have mental illnesses and I believe this woman does have mental illness. The way it works is the person has mental capacity but are not in control of their own behaviour. I believe she murdered the kids and incinerated the bodies. This should follow with murder charges and a life sentence with medical treatment while in prison. The system is broken and anyone with mental illnesses should never have kids.

It was wild when all that went down and I can not believe she hasn't been put in prison yet. Unreal.
She knows what she was doing. She knows Whats right and what's wrong. She knew how to kill her kids and get away with it.. court system sucks. You can get away with murder here, as long as you act like you stuck on stupid..wow.. glad I don't live in this state.

If she's very mentally ill, then why don't they say the name of that mental illness? I believe that she certainly remembers where she put their children. And the fact she doesn't tell I see as her way to let the father suffer more. Imo she should get a higher sentence because of her refusal, but instead unfortunately nothing happens!
She's not going to tell you where they are because there gone! There are probably no remains to recover or she did something so horrific to them she would not want anyone to know what she did. She's a monster an needs to be treated as one. Monster are kept in tiny cages in dark damp basements, poked with electrical prods everyday.
Since they haven't found the children, what is to say she hasn't sold or gave them away into the hands of those who put children into S*&^%$ slavery?
