  1. 18 USC 242 "Deprivation of Rights under Color of Law", provides for removing qualified immunity of any and all public officials, elected, employed, police, and Judges, allowing for lawsuit for their abuses of your rights. Go for $1 mill per itemized offense. Per individual. That starts with a nice list of police who illegally searched your home for no reason.

  2. If you want to improve your city then obey the laws not think you're above them also the people have a right to demand the government hear there grievance against them its the constitution you stupid city officials.

  3. This city council hog needs to be put out to pasture! He is an embarrassment to the Framers of the Constitution. And LOOK, absolutely NO One on the City Council had the Balls to stand up to him to support Civil Rights and open government! SHAMEFULL!

These FOIA, requests, i.e. "Freedom of Information Act Requests" whose function is loosely defined as, 'The basic function of the Freedom of Information Act is to ensure informed citizens, vital to the functioning of a democratic society" are becoming a public nuisance. They are causing the city a lot of work. We know who you are that are wasting our time with your lawful requests. We are not going to assist you with your request and if you have a problem with that, you can move to a town that will follow the law and respond to your lawful requests.

  5. I agree that some people do it just to make more work for the city workers. I agree that frivolously ordering mountains of records that you have no intention of doing anything with is a bad thing to do.

However, the number of people who throw away money just to screw up your day has got to be in the dozens. And I mean nationwide, the number of people doing that is probably less than triple digits.

Crying that a woman is in there trying to get records about A SITUATION THAT INVOLVED HER DIRECTLY is absolutely insane! She paid her money, which is meant to pay the workers who gather the records, give her the fucking records. And, also, I'm on board with her request for the records, a refund, AND interest. There needs to be a penalty for doing stuff like this to people. If there's no penalty, there's no fear preventing them from being trashy.
