A truck driver was sentenced to over 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to five counts of negligent homicide. Danny Glen Tiner was driving on an Arizona interstate when he crashed into stopped traffic in January 2023. Five people were killed in the crash. Tiner told investigators he was checking a message on his “work tablet” when he failed to stop his semi-truck. Authorities discovered Tiner was actually watching videos on TikTok at the time of the crash. Law&Crime’s Sierra Gillespie breaks down bodycam footage from the deadly crash.

  1. He looks like a pos too. I truly think truck drivers not just this guy but many of them need to re-test there driving test. So many times I almost got killed by them.

  2. Maybe I am just old fashioned, but the only apps I use is YouTube and wats app… I don't even have tik Tok on my phone, I guess I am missing out on everything… that's ok, I don't want the bird box effect….

  3. As a foreigner, what punishment do people normally face in such a case? In my country that would be negligent homicide.

  4. This is sad not only for the victim but also the family of the driver. The driver didn't have any malicious intent. He made a poor choice that had lasting effects. I am in no way defending the driver I am just saying it should serve as a reminder not to watch or record tik tok or do anything on a phone if you are driving.

  5. sorry English is my second language. After seeing the title I am wondering how could TikTok kill 5 people.

  6. Truckers are some of the dumbest shitheads on the road. They constantly drive with this overbearing sense of entitlement and simply do not care what mayhem they cause.

  7. Tiktok is a cancer. It's designed to specifically be highly addictive. But most people are at least somewhat able to say no especially when driving a 10 ton death machine! This guy doesn't even seem like he cared. And the phone is STILL IN HIS HAND!! Does he not know he killed all these people? How does someone like this even get a CDL?
