If that were my ambulance with a patient in it, it would have never pulled over to begin with. My driver would have been told to continue proceeding toward the ER.
Died of a heart attack, I guess you could say the irony was…… Palpable 😎
I know the cop was wrong but the guy is dead so out of respect for his family I would not be inclined to say anything about the incident.
This is one of the most egregious examples of "ego-policing" I've ever seen. My father died of a heart attack, and a few years prior the EMTs and doctors were able to save nearly all of his cognitive/brain function only because they were able to him to the hospital so quickly while he was still in the window of time where they could (relatively) safely give him an anticoagulant to break up the blood clot and restore function to the effected part of his brain. If that was my father in that ambulance? Man, all i can say is that i commend the family members for remaining so calm. Maybe it's because they knew the condition that their family member was in, but i honestly dont think that i could remain that calm in such a situation.
He died from a heart attack? If only there was some sort of emergency service that sent trained individuals out to save patients from such a fate….
I’m am confused, is letting someone die in the back of an ambulance protecting or serving.
But this video is a perfect example to show they are not hero’s. They don’t care about safety, the well being of someone, or the life of the regular person. Not one cop said let’s get her to the hospital we will measure later. A human would put the life of the patient above the arrest.
So this officer was willing to put the patient's life at risk just so he could satisfy his ego? No wonder people don't trust the police
No voi vittu mitä paskalakkeja
Just another butt hurt donut stuffer meeting karma in the best way
Pulling over an ambulance is wild levels of power tripping.
As for the statement about the investigation, the reason he didn't realize it would be more reasonable and appropriate to immediately allow the ambulance to continue to the hospital is bc he didn't care about rights, laws, reason, emergencies, or lives, he only cared that he felt slighted and he's a big badass and his authority means more than reality, you know……… like a cop 🤷♂️
That cop is out of control. He was headed TO the scene (passed the ambulance in opposite lane), then turned around just to stop the ambulance. Exactly WHERE was the failure to yield? What was his reasoning to chase down an Emergency vehicle for a false stop, which DID, in fact, YEILD when he pulled in behind, instead of giving an escort when informed of the situation???
That cop should be immediately relieved of duty, and have EVERYTHING taken from him. His retirement, pension fund, and any an ALL Commendations!!!!!
LOOK AT HOW GOD GAVE HIM HIS DO, FOR HIS UNCARING BEHAVIOR. TO A PERSON HAVING A HEART ATTACK, HE REAPED WHAT HE SOWED.
Trooper Daniels or Trooper Martin. I think there was a narration error when announcing the troopers' death after the lawsuit. How ironic that he passed from cardiac failure.
What a right prick that cop was …. no excuse for that
Wonder what would have happened if trooper daniels ambulance had been pulled over in the same way following his heart attack?
8:56 screenshot is crazy. putting hands around someone’s neck. i will never understand
Thank you for showing the good cops too!
The patient should have been priority not arresting the paramedics, so ridiculous 😢
I dunno, maybe let the ambulance take the patient to the hospital before you arrest them?
Well, that's some karma.
This is why law enforcement has such a poor public image. Ego out of control and delusions of grandeur. This should be used in police academies as an example of what not to do.
Im glad i decided not to be a cop!
These cops are given to much authority let alone the "Quaified Immunity" that so many of these pitiful examples of himan beings and police for that matter. This has got to stop.
He shouldn't have argued with the trooper. He was confrontational with the trooper. He should have de-escalated and made it all about the patient
As soon as you hear the twang in the voice you know you’re f’ed if you are not white.
To Everyone that say the Trooper's death was Karma.
YOU ARE WRONG.
Its NOT karma because he still lived 9 more years after the incident. In other words, there was NO JUSTICE because the trooper didn't loose his pension, he didn't loose the shirt off his back, he didn't loose the roof over his head & he didn't loose the food off his table.
STOP calling it Karma.
Just imagine how many people this guy hurt, if he's this desperate to chase down and penalize an ambulance doing what he surely does every day without an excuse
That's a fun legal distinction in the first story. In the statute, all other vehicles need to pull over for authorized emergency vehicles when authorized emergency vehicles are using their lights and sirens. It all hinges on the definition of "other". If an authorized emergency vehicle is not using its lights, is it now an "other" vehicle? The wording makes it unclear.
I’m sorry but there’s no valid reason to treat any paramedic that way, let alone grabbing him by the neck like that. Not to mention an ambulance is considered an emergency vehicle and I look at an ambulance as higher priority. I heard this Trooper passed away from a heart attack? No sympathy on my end. None.
That Paramedic is a real man with a true heart.
I've never seen a bigger moron and egotistical cop in my life! I've been watching these vids for 8 years!
Do you hear that cop telling everybody to "Get Home, You Get Home"!!
Police really earn the hate of the people
Trooper doesn't seem to realize ambulances are emergency vehicles AS WELL! Stopping one is potentially interfering with medical care. Follow them to the hospital if you really feel it necessary, but stopping them beforehand is negligent. The ambulance shouldn't have stopped in the first place.
He only doing this because they blk
