  1. Coincidence? Joseph James DeAngelo lived 5 minutes from where he van was found and it was found at end of Old Auburn Blvd and Canyon Oak where he lived comes off that street. She was murdered on the anniversary of his conviction of shoplifting by a Sacramento County jury in 1979 and then he became a rampaging killer. She was also abducted on the exact day his wife bought a new house and moved in and forced him to sign a community property waiver. She lived by Save Mart where he worked. Did he see her at that store on her way home Friday after school? I believe he did it.

  2. Thank you true crime for always padding a heartbreaking story in awful puns. It really drives the story home for me. I'll bet the family of the victim appreciates it too.

"A woman who could LIGHT up any room cam face to face with DARKNESS and death."

  3. I've known Melissa for years and I met Heather a few years back. Every so often I do a search on this case in the hopes that there are answers for them and their family. 💔 One day I hope that when I search it will come up with a report that this has been solved.

  4. This screams potential boyfriend (jealous female) that she knew through the school. I also don’t trust the best friend though. Come on police.

  5. To the narrator, I can understand your enthusiasm but as this is a crime case can you tone it down a notch and just speak without such dramatic narrations please I couldn't stand it so had to stop watching. Peace.

  6. This reminds me of the case where someone was having a secret relationship with a cop. The cop lured and strangled her making it look like a suicide. I think that woman was pregnant.
