At only 18, Anita Knutson was living on her own, working two jobs, and putting herself through college at Minot State University in North Dakota. Many people wanted to be close to Anita. Until someone got too close. More: https://bit.ly/3dtzcSK

Good loving gone bad.
Even from day 1, i suspected the roommate NICOLE ERIN rice and why it took 15 years is absolutely disgusting and incompetent of law enforcement?
Its a cover up. I think its the room mate. Why is she hiding. Just because her parents say she was with them doesnt mean she was.
My Goodness, very sad..he totally admits the crush though …. ofcourse they will look at the guy w the crush on her .
Comment wont stay to my reply to the update, tried 2x. My first though was the roomate. Those cops didnt test any samples until after they were put in the national spotlight. Had they done the killers dna first thing it woulda come bk as female n they wouldnt need to collect, talk to, or anything like that to men. Also i thought that the person was probably already in the house n lives there that's why they had to fake the screen. Since we pay ppl to do everything they can n then they dont, i think the ones that finance the police should be involved in the rules n procedures n all aspects cause its us paying them to essentially help or kill us. That cop straight up lied about the dna being tested to C.W interview. If i knew how i would start this process.
So sad as a parent listening to them words makes me so sad.How a monster makes this huge damage to not only Annita but who her closest ones.
R.I.P little angel and much strong to her family and friends.
5:07 that’s so heartbreaking to hear her mom say “I promised the judge I’d take care of her and keep her safe her whole life… but I didn’t manage to do that…” 💔💔💔
I think the maintenance man maybe
Tyler’s sweet enough but gives me the heeby jeebies
The roommate is the likely suspect. I understand the brother passed away due to the loss but due to drug use could this be worth looking into. I'm not speaking bad about Daniel but it's something to think about. The people me may have been involved with?
After accusing her prom date over and over, knowing now the roommate has been arrested, do you still plan to make his life miserable was much as you possibly can now?
my professor always says 'there's no such thing as a perfect crime' to me, 'there's no such thing as a perfect crime only imperfect investigations' if law enforcements would just conduct investigations seriously & pursue everything there will be no unsolved cases. perpetrators would have to think twice bcause there will be no crime undetected & end up in cold case.
This was so rough to watch. No words.
Anita was killed by her roommate like Meredith Kercher was killed by Amanda
Nicole Rice is charged with Class AA felony murder in the June 2007 stabbing death of her then roommate Anita Knutson, 18, which had gone cold for nearly 15 years before her arrest last March.
Anita Knutson was a Minot State University student when she was found dead June 4, 2007, face down in her bed at her and Rice's northwest Minot apartment. She died from two stab wounds, likely one or two days before she was found, according to a criminal complaint filed against Rice.
The dad, especially, breaks my heart
I feel bad for Tyler, now knowing who killed her. Poor kid swore they were bestfriends but everybody denied him that.
This is so sad and depressing
teach your kids better parents…
It's kind of strange that the window screen Cut🤔 most criminals or murder's cut downwards then down the bottom side was like a L shape. Not on diagonal 🤔. And could have let that person in maybe the Manger 🤔 and he said he found the screen on the ground but not near he window 🤔and the manager Dose have a Key🤔and then he Hangs him self 🤔. And the police said she might have Died on Sunday Now her mum was trying to call her No answer Saturday and then Sunday No answer soo.. She might have died Friday night or Saturday night🤔and did the police check her phone to see what time her mum called that way they might find where her daughters phone would be at. Maybe close to her or somewhere in the house that her daughter Couldn't Get to🤔 was there any cameras around the area?the Manger might have been obsessed with her😂And her best friend the Boy. Yes a little strange but you get Alot of those boys like that. Dose he look like he's a liar 🤔 yeah a Little and looks like a serious person who doesn't like rejection and been werido. 🤔 But he stuck beside her no matter what Untill one Day he decided enough was enough! And tried one last time to her to be with Him as girlfriend and boyfriend. But then things didn't go soo.. Well! And that's where it Ended 🤔
The police talking about one of the only people who had bad blood with the victim, a key to the apartment and who she said she was scared of: Well she said she was at her parents house so 🤷🏽♀️
some police are not doing their jobs. roommate is the key
Sorry for the patents, but there was no need for mom to laugh at Tyler.
It doesn’t make sense that Taylor did this! Why would he get from the window! He knows her! He would knock and get in killed her then leave! Why would he get in and out a window? It doesn’t make sense at all! And he looks like a good guy
Now that they arrested the roommate 15 years later, I think the police were lying about checking DNA.
I know that the Minot Police Department has arrested 34-year-old Nicole, but she still denies killing Anita. Have the police checked Nicole's friends? Perhaps she brought someone with whom Anita had a fight and he killed her with two knife strokes. Murder is not so easy, but two knife stabs and death rather than injury? Anita did not die from loss of blood, she died from a knife stab. A man can do that more easily, and men usually carry pocket knives like that in their pockets. Maybe Nicole and her boyfriend staged a break-in through the window after the murder. Nicole may be an accomplice and is not confessing hoping to be acquitted. I wonder if Nicole's parents were telling the truth. Did they see her arrive or did they leave their house before she arrived? The fact that she was seen forty kilometres away from the crime scene may be true if she was only going to her parents' house and not returning to her own home. It is strange that there were no cameras anywhere, because it was not that long ago.
Kelly Siegler is only concerned with convictions, and I once saw her attempting to prosecute a man who was clearly innocent, but she did everything to send him to jail. He got off, so what does that say about her?
So, Nicole is guilty as she had a key and didnt like the victim? Scum like Siegler are so used to crazy gun crime and a malfunctioning society that sending anybody to jail is the norm.
America the country where real evidence isnt a necessity, and big business is a conviction.
Where's the DNA, witnesses or specifuc evidence? If a murder had occurred in next room then it's either there or not.
No wonder your Police beat innocent people to death!
No disrespect, but I would've solve this case faster tban this "police". If it's needed, hire more people, this is not…acceptable. Not for this big Country.
America,'n police…. those kids deserve rest in peace. Anita…and her brother. The most of guilt goes to Police, shemeless for America.
Those Parents and Sister got support Worldwide. I will share this on our forum also.
Tyler is just a friend with an unrequited crush on Anita. He’s a bit odd and socially awkward and clearly valued their relationship more than Anita, but that doesn’t make him a killer. He’s just being a good friend and obviously he loved her a lot so is trying to help the case.
