Florida man Timothy Ferriter is accused of locking up his adopted son inside of a room he had built in the family’s garage. Ferriter faces charges of aggravated child abuse, false imprisonment and neglect of a child. Court records out of Jupiter, Florida show that the door to the room had a deadbolt on the outside, along with multiple other locks. Investigators also found video from a ceiling camera that showed Ferriter allegedly punching, throwing, and beating the son multiple times. When Ferriter’s son wasn’t in school, he allegedly was locked in the room — only allowed out to eat or sometimes use the restroom.

  1. I really despise these two defense lawyers. I do not believe they did not mess up that exhibit on purpose. They were trying to push that video from the very beginning.

  2. I wonder how it felt for him as the handcuffs went on, kind of like his son felt while in the 8×8 room, now the scumbag will be living in a 10 x 7 jail cell until he is sentenced!! His sick wife will be next. Can't wait to hear the sentencing he is given and he deserves every second of being in jail and prison!! I dealt with a man that had taken his 3 year old daughter out to the Superstition Mountains, doused the little girl with gasoline and lit her on fire in the guise of going to see Santa Claus!! He acted as though nothing happened while in my jail, he was sentenced to death, but a couple of prison inmates took care of it before the state of Arizona could!!! Totally sick person, both him and his wife!! The father of the little girl did not put up a fight as ten of us Detention Officers were waiting in the intake sallyport to get him out of the Apache Junction police car and into intake!! Weird as it seemed he never caused any trouble while in my jail.

  3. I watched the whole trial, and I thought the Defense Attorney did the best she could with what she had. For the life of me, I cannot imagine winning this case with all the evidence, and videos too! She didn't tell him that the case was impossible, that makes her a bad attorney. Maybe she wanted the money, or her 15 minutes of fame on t.v.

  4. These parents should’ve given the child up! He was obviously very damaged, and they made things worse! They should’ve know better!

  5. Well, I say box him up ship him to prison for at the least 1 yr for every hr that kid had to spend in that insanity box

  6. Can’t believe this pos was so arrogant he thought he’d be found NG!! Why oh why knowing what they knew, did the defence not tell him to take the deal… and go on the stand, to at least try & get one juror to see him as a human 🤷‍♀️ terrible defense imo, particularly the guy 🤦‍♀️

  7. Karma is a biotch…… I’m so happy the judge gave him the same treatment he gave his son and remanded him to custody immediately. Only difference this is the real animal. It’s absolutely sickening that their family and friends see nothing wrong in how they treated their adopted son, it’s obvious in that family if you’re not blood you are nothing. I wonder where the kids are…….

  8. And now he wants his lawyer, next week (the week of 10/23) to ask for a bond to be posted for him until his sentencing date so he could get out again. This man thinks he's above the law and can't stand to be in prison — the SAME thing he did to his victim. I pray the judge says NO to his lawyer. The man has been convicted on 3 felony accounts and should NOT spend another moment outside the prison except for his sentencing date.

  9. Now he will get the taste of his own medicine to, see how he feels being locked up in a box, but for him it will be a cage. And she deserves the same.

  10. what happens to the kids if both Tim and Tracy are found guilty? I want them to be convicted but just wondering about the 4 kids, one is still a toddler I think. Will they go into foster care?

  11. Cant wait to see him with his head shaved and in prison attire! I hope he enjoys the slop he’s fed after DEPRIVING HIS SON from EATING, SNACKS, A BATHROOM, LIGHTS & LIST GOES ON

  12. The elephant in the room is this boy's behavior. Violent outbursts, trying to hurt a dog, trying to hurt a 4 yr old, impersonation, playing with electricity, bringing a scalpel to school "for no reason" and chronic lying. He also asked if the holocaust was a good thing and i suspect those violent websites he googled were about nazi glorification. Combined with intelligence, composure and charm, what does that tell you? I hope somebody keeps a sharp eye on this kid.

  13. Glad he was found guilty he definitely deserves everything he gets. However I do hope they get mandatory
help for the kids especially his son. After what all he did to him he definitely is going to need some help.

  14. tis judge was set on his decision from day 1, this jury should have have actually looked at all the evidence, instead of rushing, they didn't listen or watch anything the defense showed or said. I hope this families lawyers appeal this. because this whole thing was just wrong. simple as that.

  15. It was common to grab him by the neck and get dragged by his neck to his room. When in room I heard swearing and him slappling him. I coudnt take him food, there was nothing i could do.
No wonder they needed to hear this again.

  16. Who was the man sitting with the mom? He was holding her hand and kept giving smug looks to others so didn't seem like lawyer behavior… Just wondering who he is.
