Today’s video is about Matthew Souter, who owns a farmhouse in The Plains, Virginia. He ended up being unlawfully arrested and tased by police officers in his front yard. I’ll tell you about his interaction with the police, from beginning, all the way to last week’s jury verdict in a federal courtroom in Alexandria, Virginia.

I disagree with the Justice system and the Legislators. The Executive branch isn't any better either. They sicken me with the their hypocrisy.
I like the content of your videos but you come in excessively and can actually put all that written stuff you're reading off your computer screen in a link. That sounds to me like you're beginning to ramble….😥
Disagree
John you look like a good guy how many proboneo cases have you done in the last 5yrs
It figures that big-bucks Virginia would deliver a puny monetary verdict.
Karen was allowed to use the cops as her own personal gang of thugs
Thanks
No, I do not agree with the juries verdict. Moreover, the woman who filed criminal charges against the gentleman should have faced CRIMINAL CHARGES for filing an EPO under false pretenses, which lead to a violent, and false arrest, then SUED in Civil Court.
Just my opinion based on years of observation.
I would be pissed to. Those cops should have had to lose their homes to pay that one back.
Imdaman Suedatass is on the scene.
Hi this is the Rambo case .it's been delayed. It was April 2 8:30am.now it's April 24th 8;30 am.when dose it stop 😮😂
Is there a statue of limitations on violating someones civil rights when it causes near death?
Not enough money was awarded
We need to start suing for millions. Not thousands. Let a department loos a few multimillion dollar cases. Watch the change happen. All civil rights violations from the police should start at 10 million. Stop settling and take it to court.
He did not turn it off. The power and gas company turn it off because some one did not pay the bill
Does 50k even cover his expense for lawyers and courts?
Pigs gotta be pigs. The thin blue line of thugs strikes again. Reasonable law enforcement officer, well there"s your problem right there no such a thing nowadays it seems.
I love your videos and the legal analysis that you give. I’m wondering whether you could get new shades for your lamps, particularly the lamp on the left of the screen. The shades are very ragged.
So what you're saying is there were no attorneys fees above and beyond the 50,000 something's wrong here
It’s unfortunate that cops do not care about lawsuits, because the cop never pays out! Win’s should be taken from police budgets.
Any case against the government should automatically include attorney fees aside from award
Yeah 50 k is weak cause he got teased man. And he probably didn't get the full 50 they probably gave him less after cashing it and paying the law man
Do we know if the judge has recently been pulled over by this police department?😉.
Who was his attorney in this case?
I wonder if the defendant stipulated to resisting arrest for some reason? tho im not sure what benefit it could bring
Well, if I heard right that the cops didn't have qualified immunity, so they had to pay the $50k themselves, that hurts them while the city paying $500k doesn't impact them at all.
