Famed sex therapist Amie Harwick was found outside of her Hollywood Hills home struggling to hold onto life after allegedly being thrown off of a third-story balcony in 2020. Harwick died at a hospital shortly after the fall from blunt force injuries to her head and torso, along with evidence of strangulation. Authorities quickly zeroed in on her ex-boyfriend, Gareth Pursehouse, who had previous restraining orders filed against him by Harwick and was described as a “stalker” by many of the doctor’s friends. Pursehouse now faces trial in a California courtroom for Harwick’s murder.
Pursehouse’s defense said the defendant admitted to breaking into Harwick’s home but did not murder her. They are seeking a not guilty verdict on the murder charge and asking for a lesser charge.

A friend/client of mine is a police officer and she said sometimes they use the deceased’s face to open the phone ID. In this case I suspect her face ID wouldn’t have worked given her fall & possible swelling. 😞 blows my mind so many people failed her right down to google too.
