REMINDER: The Judge is not allowing live streaming of this trial. L&C will be streaming this on a one-day delay. The Stream will start it each morning at 9am ET.

Famed sex therapist Amie Harwick was found outside of her Hollywood Hills home struggling to hold onto life after allegedly being thrown off of a third-story balcony in 2020. Harwick died at a hospital shortly after the fall from blunt force injuries to her head and torso, along with evidence of strangulation. Authorities quickly zeroed in on her ex-boyfriend, Gareth Pursehouse, who had previous restraining orders filed against him by Harwick and was described as a “stalker” by many of the doctor’s friends. Pursehouse now faces trial in a California courtroom for Harwick’s murder.
Pursehouse’s defense said the defendant admitted to breaking into Harwick’s home but did not murder her. They are seeking a not guilty verdict on the murder charge and asking for a lesser charge.

  1. I usually just hate the defense attorneys. In this trial I also hate the prosecution. He is so rude and aggressive with his own witnesses. These people are grieving the murder and loss of their precious friend! Have some compassion, you worthless jerk! There’s no excuse for such unprofessional behavior.

  2. If I was the roommate I'd be going off on the neighbors 911 and cops too. OMG how tragic and everyone acting so nonchalant. Maybe it's because it's Hollywood but I've never in my life seen so many incompetent people. I too have watched a lot of true crime and this murder is so horrific. Poor Aimee 😭 this guy needs to be beat up and tortured every minute of he's miserable life

  3. I feel for him cause I been in place I was so scared of someone breaking in and I got roommates to go check it out while I stayed upstairs looking for exit but on other hand if it was my family I think I would've came down with weapon of anything two against one harder to hurt but I still beleive this boyfriend did it 100

  4. My blood is boiling! Why is Michael being berated? They are treating him as if he's involved/or planned out this heinous act of evil. This poor man was scared to death and he's being treated as a suspect, which is obviously crystal clear by this point in time, that he had nothing to do with her murder. I'm so sick to my stomach. MOVE ON!! GET BACK TO THE VILLIAN AND THROWING THAT P.O.S. IN THE DUMPSTER. SPRAY GASOLINE, LIGHT A MATCH AND NEVER, EVER LOOK BACK.
    My God. 😢

  5. I feel sooo incredibly horrible for this roommate… the trauma that he has been caused from this murder is also horrible… People that Murder don’t see the ripple effects of their disgusting behaviour. I would respond thee exact same way that he has while at the scene, & while in court. I’d be a COMPLETE MESS through this. And especially through testimony especially while the KILLER is sitting RIGHT in front of me!!! No way! … this is going to effect him for some time.

  6. I like how this judge is on the ball and is no-nonsense. If I were innocent I believe I would be looking up and in people's faces. This guy is looking down like he has something to hide.

  7. Im shocked by how many people feel“sorry” for this “man” I guess I’ve surrounded myself with real men who would have at the very least tried to help me not by yelling “hey mother fukr”

  8. the video they played of the responding officers is infuriating. they keep deflecting how apathetic the response from law enforcement was and keep saying how upset the neighbor was and how he couldn't calm down. ridiculous. the cops couldn't have cared less and just told him to calm down when the neighbor is understandably shaken from hearing his neighbor being murdered. who would be calm in a situation like that? i'm disgusted.

  9. My good friend AJ’s dad was in a horrible car accident with a group of his friends on the night of their senior prom (sounds super generic i know lol). He was the only survivor, the other 5 kids died before the medics even got there. The reason Im mentioning this is because AJ has told me a couple of stories of incidents when his dad was heavily feeling the survivors guilt and these stories are absolutely horrible.

I imagine that this gentleman feels an immense amount of survivors guilt due to this instance. And he will continue to do so, likely for the remainder of his days.

  10. I’m not judging the roommate for loosing his cool, but I just don’t know why he was so unprepared—in previous testimony it was said that after that incident at the Red-carpet event, Amy not only increased her security but also Warned her roommate to be on guard. So when he first heard that glass break early in the night (when the assailant first broke into the house), and the roommate thought Amy dropped a glass, shouldn’t he have been on guard and at least just gotten up to see if she was ok? I think THAT would have been “on guard” and May have prevented the crime. Though I realize doing so, knowing what we know now, likely would have put his own life in danger. Just sad!

  11. It is painful to watch this poor man’s pain. This event clearly impacted him deeply and he is reliving his trauma on the stand. I hope the DA paid for some counselling sessions afterward, his testimony was impactful and valuable, but putting him through that was probably so damaging to his mental health. I hope he is able to move past all this and heal
