I've followed Tara's case since it all started in 2005; watching Nancy Grace's coverage. It's very sad that Tara's family didn't receive the justice they undoubtedly deserve. That said, and as much as it pains me to say, I think a dismissal is appropriate under the circumstances. As a matter of law, I don't like the implication of these additional charges and they also appear rather punitive following the acquittal. I feel real strongly about this with regard to Ryan and unfortunately, Bo is essentially in the same boat on account of manipulative investigators & law enforcement. This case was not approached comprehensively from the start – the Ocilla Police Department and GBI didn't act quickly in 2005, whereas they acted far too quickly in 2017. And at least in theory, the speed with which the prosecution was able to build it's case could indirectly contribute to the defense argument in terms of the expired statute; the tips were practically in the case file from the start and the prosecutors didn't start from square one. To claim that it wasn't initially identified as a crime based on a lack of corroboration just underscores the degree to which it was mismanaged.
Audio is terrible……
what is this motion for- other than pointing out LEO mistakes?
prosecutor still annoys me
I feel like VanderLaad learned how to cop from Leah Lightner
i was born in fitzgerald, ben hill county georgia. Ben Hill county is a large county …this case is really hitting home for me considering its from my home town…
Yeah, I think she’s guilty😂
Anybody got sound??
No volum
What became painfully obvious after watching this motion hearing today is that a whole bunch of completely incompetent cops from all agencies involved, botched this investigation and caused her remains to sit unrecovered for over a decade. How utterly embarrassing for all agencies involved. They knew shortly after Tara’s disappearance what happened and where her remains were. Every single one of these hacks claimed lack of probable cause, and passed the ball. An utter lack of communication, competence, and humanity for Tara’s family. This could have been solved immediately if it had happened in a place with halfway competent cops.
Yeah she is a hostile witness.. pure _unt with a capital C .
I thought they did this trial already and they were found not guilty… Isn't this the chick who was sleeping with the principal and was later "graped" and "culled" by her students??
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO STREAM THIS OVER THE YOHN TRIAL??? You should at least let people know. People asked on twitter and you couldn't be bothered to answer!!! So unprofessional!
