Count 2: 1st-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety (Deputy Colin Coultrip)
Modifier: Use of a Dangerous Weapon
Count 3: 1st-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety (Deputy Terry Tifft – Riggs’ handler)
Modifier: Use of a Dangerous Weapon
Count 4: Possession of a Firearm (Convicted of Out-of-State Felony)
Count 5: Harassment of Police Animals (Intentionally striking a police animal ie: shot Riggs in the head)
Count 6: Mistreating an Animal (intentionally treat in a cruel manner an animal – K9 Riggs, causing injury)
Modifier: Use of a Dangerous Weapon
Count 7: Failure to Comply with the Officer’s Attempt to Take a Person into Custody
Count 8: Driving or Operating Vehicle w/o Owner’s Consent
Modifier: Use of a Dangerous Weapon
Count 9: Attempted Escape from Custody (pushed officer, briefly escaping custody, while transferring Brown from hospital to jail)

    As a crazy animal lover this was heart breaking, I can’t imagine the worry his handler went through! Absolute credit to all the medical personnel involved for rushing Riggs straight in and I’m SO SO impressed that the County of WI treats K9 officers like humans and allows animals to access human ambulances!!

    I was kind of shocked when she questioned how long they allow the officers to “rest” before being questioned in a officer involved shooting so they can process, etc.. BUT if it’s a regular ole’ civilian crime they bring everyone in that they can right away and question for hours and hours?? Is that what the judge was afraid of??

    I wonder if the three officers from the Sheriff's office lost a couple of bets? Having to escort this guy in and out of court and those freshly shaved heads? I don't remember seeing one with a full head of hair.

    I don’t understand why the defense isn’t really cross examining much. I believe he should 100% be locked away, but there’s no point of this trial if defense isn’t going to do their jobs…

    Is it me or this judge is a ask and answer really fast and he don't care if there in the middle of a question, he just lets them know it's time for a break now!!. One judge i wouldn't want to be in front of, he scares me..
