  1. Has anyone else noticed that the defense attorney doesn’t exactly refute evidence or make alternate theories but rather with every witness, points out exactly how much they don’t know? I realize it may be part of the job to do so with every witness? Don’t they typically do that with perhaps a particular witness, that they might look to impeach? His “let’s assume” theories are ridiculous. Can’t wait for his “theory” of what they believe happened. My goodness, I wonder if that woman paid a lot of money for her attorney. He’s extremely egotistical and frankly, his arguments so far, make his seem fairly unintelligent. IMO at least.

  2. Why do they keep saying “blood event?” Is that darn defense attorney prohibiting them from using the word murder? I know he was objecting to particular words being used. This is NOT fair to Jennifer. This is the most dispassionate trial I’ve ever seen. I don’t know if that will change as we proceed? I certainly hope so!

  3. I try not to make derogatory comments, and maybe it's just me, but the defense attorney is driving me nuts. I understand that he is zealously defending his client, but the man needs some Xanax or something. Just kidding, sheesh!
I love the judge's calm demeanor, and how he navigates through each objection by repeating the words and deconstructing them to show the attorneys why he rules the way he does. I think he's being very forward thinking regarding an appeal.

  4. Bless those expert witnesses trying to testify with all that chatter of the translator. The background noise is driving me nuts, I can't image how they are articulating intelligent information whilst that translation is so loud and disruptive.

  5. Reply to Stacey Meadows: re: warm tea–Oh! The cup was stainless? -this is true. Excellent point! You;re right! My husband has a YETI stainless TOO and yup, it keep beverages hot a long time. ok. That answers that question. 👍

  6. Lol.. the defense is being absurd with his DNA questions.. Where is he going with all that?? All the DNA reports are in % probability for a reason (especially with relatives being involved).. Trace DNA does degraded over time and under certain conditions but that doesn't make it unreliable evidence.. STRs are pretty stable even if the DNA in the sample is degraded!

  7. It always amazes me, from watching so many trials, how so many people, when testifying, cut off the attorneys when they’re trying to ask a question.
Lt. Ken Ventresca is a perfect example of it and I feel so sorry for not only the attorney asking the questions, but especially the court reporter trying to type the testimony. This detective was one of the worst at speaking over the attorney. He literally does it on each and every question and as much control and attention to detail this Judge has over his courtroom, I was surprised he didn’t reprimand the detective to wait until the attorney stopped speaking before he started speaking in order to get a clear record of what was being said.
It’s so rude when people cut people off and I don’t understand how some people have NO self awareness that they have a problem with doing it….especially as much as this detective does it!
    (Testimony begins approx. –6:42:26)

  8. Surely the Judge could demand some better set up for the translators. In some places they are in soundproof booths listening to speakers on headphones while speaking into a mike that relays translation to the headphones of the defendant . This set up is really needed because this current form is a hot mess. Man….get a couple of maintenance guys to build a couple of closets lol.

  9. LT. Davidson is really hard to listen to. He sounds nervous, and I have no idea what he's really trying to say. I think some of the jury would feel the same. Also, why are we hearing the interpreter. Smh. There's no reason for her to be so loud.

  10. While many are critical of the blood expert, he is extremely knowledgeable. Something awful happened in that garage and it happened to Jennifer by Fotis. Did Fotis kill himself for no reason? Michelle Troconis knows what happened to Jennifer. Fotis didn't keep that a secret. Troconis was in the vehicle when Fotis was dropping bloody clean up items in several (maybe 30 or so) trash receptables, all on video, on the day of Jennifer's disappearance and I believe also the next day. If anyone thinks Triconis was oblivious as to what he was doing, well, that's just plain crazy.

  11. I understand that the prosecution has to prove that Jennifer Dulos was murdered before trying to show the conspiracy to commit murder, however the lack of pace at this part and the fact that Troconis can’t be placed at the house or the car doesn’t help the prosecution.

More than a week of trial and all they have on Troconis is that she had an affair with Dulos… That’s not proof of murder…
