I think after the hospital she had to go buy some Xanax from someone.. I don’t think she had a script at the time.. she ignored the question at the police station “can anyone bring your script or meds to you?”. that’s how she ended up at Taco Bell. That’s my opinion…her plug or “friend” either met her or dropped her off at Taco Bell.
So confused by the defense. Sometimes it seems like they are trying to convince the jury she didn’t kill him snd sometimes they want the jury to think she was insane when she did it.
Watching this poor girl testify is so sad. She was so trusting and even afraid of her mother. She never questioned this odd behavior. Perhaps manipulation was normal so she didn’t know to question her. She was very sheltered by her mother. By design I’m sure. Very sad.
So did this monster start a fire, maybe trying to burn/suffocate Gannon? Al and Harley said it isn’t common for him to light a candle.
Yeah, that story about her friend from work going with her to pick up her mum makes NO sense. First they wouldnt let the daughter into the hospital because she was a minor, so that's why she asked her friend to come along, but THEN they picked up her mum at the Taco Bell? And Letecia just rode there with a random stranger while she's being paranoid about being followed by the police???? That makes NO sense… The daughter knows more than she is saying. Obviously they needed a hiding place.
Someone has to be a seriously disturbed to murder a little boy. There is definitely some mental issues going on.
I hope Albert stays in this young woman's life since she is out of parents and needs one.
If this mother was soooooooo strict, then why would she allow the child to go to a friend's house and NOT know Exactly which friend?!

To the few in here who were ready to judge this poor young woman:
Being psychologically abused, gaslighted, coerced by your only parent would cause a child (even at this point in her life) to suffer unimaginable harm from which it will possibly take a lifetime of therapy just to keep going.
She cried as she entered the courtroom to swear her oath. There was nothing fake about it. Why shouldn't she cry for herself? I'm sure she was crying for Gannon too.
Everything in her life was no longer real, her 'mother' a child killer. This poor young woman was terrified and the confusion and terror was palpable.
Imagine you were Harley. Put yourself in her shoes. To have to stand against the monster she called mum. How would you do?
The lawyer was irritating me how he was getting frustrated with Harley. This was literally 3 years ago and she was 17 years old .. she isn’t paying attention to how her mom turned the keys into the rental place

Now since Letecia lied about her child’s father’s death makes me think she killed him

Hm, sorry but she sure does seem to forget a lot of things you’d think would be burned into her memory. Not saying she knew but imo she knew more than she said on the stand eg: she doesn’t remember how or who quit her own job

Harley has only been on the stand for a few minutes so far but I’ve been trying to watch letecia’s face which is hard to see to be fair but I don’t see anything. While I could never hurt anyone let alone a child I think back to when I was in active addiction and I would be this cold hearted person until my baby girl entered anywhere. ESPECIALLY when I was in jail and had court. So for her to sit there and watch the pain on her daughters face and show nothing tells that jury everything they need to know
I think Letecia was torturing Gannon with ex lax and other medications for months to effect his moods. She’s an absolute monster
She doesn’t remember entirely too many things. She’s definitely not saying everything she knows. She sure cares a lot about the dogs. I then she cries over not having money. No one seemed to really care about Gannon
