1. I just knew maya wouldn’t be there for baty! that lady ruined her life. I don’t blame her in the slightest

2. Is there a tally on pro-defense objections sustained vs how many times the judge is consistently ruling against the plaintiffs?

5. I don’t find it inappropriate for hospital staff to offer a hug to a child crying. Sitting on the lap at her age at the time? Absolutely weird. But I don’t think offering a crying child a hug, and in fact I would think it be cruel not to considering this child has no family or anyone they know to comtfort them!! They were in the care of the state but essentially the hospital staff were responsible for her and her caregivers, so they should be offering comfort – which for kids definitely includes a hug/physical touch. I didnt agree with the lawyer making a big deal.of that but I totally understand the sitting on the lap thing. But if Maya didnt want a hug, then of course it'll inappropriate

7. I never paid close attention to the judges little tuft of hair at the top of his forehead. Why would you leave that, I'm wondering? Especially a judge?

8. We all see the manipulation of judge and defense I know the jury sees it

9. Anyone notice how many Hopkins people don't know that it's "Johns" Hopkins???

10. I know I am one of the good social workers AND I still feel shame seeing this

11. At 2:11:50 bedy it taking her time with the answers. Like way too much time for things that she should know and be able to speak about in a normal steady tone.

12. Mr. Anderson: „How many complex regional pain syndrome children have you treated on a regular basis?“
    Cathy Bedy: „I think we‘ve seen two or three in the pediatric intensive care unit.“

    Aha! But saying Maya faked it, even though you and others have seen other children with CRPS?!
    Now even saying every other patient was bedridden and Maya wasn‘t. Every patient is different even if it‘s the same illness..

13. Either this lady is evil, or they made her take the hit – maybe?…great videography during the trial btw! 💪

14. within the first week that Maya was separated from her mother and she got worse not better wipes out their nonsensical notion it was munchausen by proxy..she should have immediately been returned to her family….these doctors that dont know about a disease become so irate when someone like a parent especially a parent that is a nurse know more about an illness and how it works for their child….the government needs to stay out of the rights of parents…..if a child of jehovah witness parents refuse life saving blood transfusions and nothing happens to them…..if just one person would have stood up for this little girl in that hospital other then her beautiful mother, she would have her mother with her today…so so sad a case….Cathi Bedy should be in jail

So Cathy Beaty and others (nurses and doctors) looking at Maya felt that she was not in "pain" by just looking at her or the way she was responding ie writing, painting, playing the piano and moving around in her wheelchair etc so they came up with the conclusions she was faking her symptoms but yet they had information ie computers and diagnosis books of information to look up CRPS symptoms etc to research out how this disease reacts on the patients who have it. So what this hospital especially Mrs Cathy Beaty saying just because a patient doesn't act or do like "other patients" who are in pain act like Maya was lying or faking her symptoms, so this puts other patients in their care could be doing the same thing as they claimed Maya was faking or not have CRPS.

16. Justice for Maya and her family. I will keep this family in my thoughts and prayers.

17. Why didn't they prep him and maybe organize his booklet of incidents….

18. Cathi Bedy is a disgusting, poor excuse for a professional social worker there ever could be. I hope she’s miserable every day of the remainder of her life. 😠 That’s just my opinion after watching this trial.

19. Cathi Bedy is a family destroyer. She is a witch.

20. They sure don’t want that journal in do they? Because it paints a very graphic picture during the time of these horrific event. Very sad. This is another reason why people have a hatred for hospitals. Sad, but true

21. I’m sorry but this judge loves the defense team. He appears a bit biased?

So will Cathy Bedy be getting sued from all these doctors that she accused of doing all of this and her not having a SINGLE hand in making any of these decisions and lying in her deposition? 😂 There is just no way that every single thing he asked her about she had an answer for and it was that another doctor or person was in charge and at fault and she had no problem giving them their name. She was just following orders. All the way up to Maya ordering her to set her in her lap and kiss her.

23. Even though Maya won, we all know the judge was just another villain in this story and that will follow him forever. I wonder if he sees that we all were watching him ruin his reputation when he could have been a hero and just played fairly and not have been so slimy.

24. What on earth was his lawyer thinking!!! If he planned to go through all this Child Victim Hearsay why didn't he get Jack to have dates organised? .

25. I like mr anderson, i think hes a cool cat "we'll get down with that later". "strike it"

26. So this Bedy person is wearing a cross around her neck but would not allow Maya to keep the ones that were given to her 😡 Also cannot believe the hospital kept her on and didn’t sack her

27. One thing that has me shook is the fact that Maya didnt get to physically see her mom for possibly weeks/months before her mom passed. That hospital stole valuable time from both of them.
