The family of Maya Kowalski, the subject of Netflix’s “Take Care of Maya,” allege that a report of child abuse from Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital led to Beata Kowalski taking her own life. The Kowalski’s are suing doctors, the Department of Children and Families, and Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital for $200 million dollars in connection to Beata’s death. According to court documents, the child abuse case against Beata was pushed forward after Maya’s physician confirmed her condition, complex regional pain syndrome, was not the fault of her parents. 1. The ~5s immediately following the jury's question "Do you think it's appropriate to call Maya 'Ketamine Girl'" to Dr Dees was a glorious display of body language. Particularly the face she made immediately after hearing the question than trying to cover it

  2. 3:09:45 wow… aparently someone is deeply sedating my little sister as well because she sleep like this… one would say she is just sleeping but this professional doctor is letting it very clear that she is deeply sedated by this picture…

  3. More brainless trolls in the chat. I'm not sure how you get through life without ever questioning a doctor much less have a rare disease and try to find anyone who even knows what it is.
Bull crap on the commode. My mom used one of those and we sat it right next to her chair because she didn't have the strength to move far/walk.

  4. Dr. Dees is an enemy of humanity. She began her Cross with “I’m not a registered expert of CRPS” – yet treated & diagnosed Maya, and gave her testimony, as if she WAS an expert.

The worst part is, none of these psychopathic doctors will ever understand what they did wrong, and the harm they caused…based on some glorified assumption that roped in many others as well; resulting in a destroyed family, a tortured 10 year old, and a dead mother.

She says “I put her in an observation room – without telling her – not to trick her but to gain a better understanding of what she could do when no one is watching” > that’s called tricking!!!

  5. The guilty look on Dee's face when they go to sidebar after being slapped with her text message. LMAO! It's only the beginning honey! Buckle up! it's gonna be a rough ride!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  6. Idk man, I'm not saying she has crps, because the more i hear the less i think it is, but i hate when Doctors say something is rare so you can't have it… It's like, it still happens and there have to be people that have it, why can't i be the one that's part of this rare thing? Just because You've never seen it before, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. It's just silly logic. To not believe a patient has something because it's rare, that's the dumbest reason to think someone doesn't have it.
