  1. So there will be a whole month where she won’t get paid anything? She said something about having to take her clients clothes home to wash. It’s such a waste to have them sitting in the courtroom everyday for nothing.

  2. People need to understand how little money $55k annually is for an attorney. I work at mid-tier consulting firm and we pay new graduates with undergrad degrees ~$80k (+ ~$50k worth of benefits) per year PLUS OVERTIME. To pay someone with a law degree $55k annually with no benefits to work on a case like this is absolute madness.

Just because she isn’t talking a lot, it doesn’t mean she’s not doing work. Every witness, every motion, every document, could potentially impact her client. She has to pay attention, review all the documents, read every single email, and effectively represent her client. There’s TONS of work behind the scenes.

I could understand if that woman said “I wish I could pay her more but we are in underfunded agency.” But to sit there and cop a snotty attitude and act like this lawyer is just being unreasonable and ungrateful is disgusting.

  3. So I have been thinking about Jeffery after this case is over. Will he ever be able to write his lyrics properly again without being afraid of getting in trouble. He’s gonna be afraid of what he says from now on. His career had already been ruined and he will never be able to put this to the side even if he wins.

  4. You know I was just thinking about this case. When this is all over and I pray that they all go home but even after that will he ever be able to write lyrics the way he did without worrying that the DA is trying to pin charges on him. This has destroyed his career already but he’s gonna be looking over his shoulder at this monkey on his back forever.

  5. Am i the only one that heard she is getting 55k per year and by the end of this year she will have made 110k? How is that 55k per year?

  6. If this witness "doesn't know" that defendants have been sitting in jail for MONTHS because the state has not been able to appoint them attorneys, she should tune into watch Judge Manning's jail calendar calls. I have seen defendants waiting for an attorney for over 10 months on her videos.

  7. This is scary honestly because it’s showing more proof that you are guilty til proven innocent. Was Johnny Cash in gang also because he sang a song that he shot a man in Reno?

  8. For context as a paralegal I know our low profile cases cost more than 55k just in expenses for copying exhibits, ordering deposition transcripts, paralegal fees etc.

  9. How do you ATTORNEY sign a binding contract agreeing to- be- paid $5500 a year…How do you now say I want to change the terms again and again🙃. Because you can't live in Buckhead and shop at the mall , shop on line on rodeo drive in my opinion, whole foods, Hulu+, discover+, iPhone 24, Cable Internet, food subscription, Credit card debit,l. And you sit there with an attitude YOU SIGNED THE $5500 A MONTH CONTRACT ATTORNEY. "DIDN'T YOU? * in Johnny's deeps female lawyers voice* Didn't you? You get mad at no one but yourself. No one is feeling you, your grown behind attorney who signed a contract, people come to you for legal advice, like your client sitting next to you looking lost and rejected.

  10. This is why there’s no court today. The court and lawyers also have other things on. There’s a lot of people involved in this trial including jurors to make time work for all.

  11. So the court appointed lawyer wants to stay on the case, but the agency refuses to pay an help out that's crazy 🤪
