  1. I think all presumed suicides should still have a complete investigation done. I know that would take extra resources with how many suicides there are each year but I think it's important. As someone who has suffered from depression and suicidal ideation it would be very easy for someone to take that knowledge of me and end me making it look like a suicide. And without a complete forensic investigation it would be pretty believable. If they would have properly investigated this from the beginning then I believe that they would have all of the evidence they need to prove it wasn't suicide. I also don't understand how they can say that the ex husband cop didn't do anything wrong as far as the law is concerned. He never should have been able to insert himself into a potential crime scene and handle potential evidence when his son and ex wife are involved. That should be against the law. If he just showed up to be there for support for his family, that's fine, as long as he didn't enter the house or touch anything. He should not have been able to act in an official police capacity. I live in Indianapolis and am shocked I have never heard of this case before today. I hope the family gets justice for Cary ❤️

  2. I don't know about y'all but if my husband killed himself, by gun, while I was in the same house and we were SOOOO in love, I don't think the 911 operater would be able to understand me when I called. I'd be a hot mess. Let alone giving every little detail of his mental state. Not to mention how calmly she went back to him saying his name. Making sure the operator heard him gurgling. Like…. No. Nope. Not happening. I would have been hysterical. So that call was the first major red flag.

  3. One thing you learn from watching these shows is that if the suspect is a cop, if the spouse/partner of the deceased is a cop or if there’s a cop in the suspects family… there will be a cover up and more likely than not no one will be held accountable.

  4. How does the FBI think this was not a suspicious incident?!? Her ex-hubby cop is there, not in uniform but there?!? It was HIS, the ex-hubby, not in uniform cop, at the scene, gun that he supposedly shot himself with?!? And no one in authority OTHER than the closely knit cops/coroner/family…didn’t see this was not a suicide?!? It’s not like these kind of things don’t happen! It happens way to often…watch these shows!! 🙄

  5. There are so many glaring wrongs in this story that I agree with the sister; IT'S A COVER UP! No off duty officer, especially a family member, should be there, it's a conflict of interest. Also, disposal of evidence? If he truly committed suicide, why remove ANYTHING?

Imagine the corner owning a flower shop. No crime, get the funeral on the road and buy flowers from me! 🙄

  6. I love his sister cuz she’s an intelligent warrior that’s not backing down on the fight to get justice. But she might get justice by cuz he’s probably going to keep breaking the law and I don’t doubt he’ll commit murder again

  7. It’s obvious that her son killed him and his mom and dad covered up for him. Of course the police department covered up too. It’s sick and it’s obvious the killer is a loser and a drug addict

  8. They collaborated together to kill him PRIOR to him moving out and filing for divorce, all so they could get his life insurance benefits and the house, etc. They probably figured that was their last chance. Disgusting bunch of people. His sister Cheryl is a strong woman and not taking this without a proper fight! I pray she has the strength to stay the course.

  9. This is very very sad, to know that criminals walk on technicalities.
I hope the family gets justice.
A reminder to all, if you sense red flags in a relationship(whether man or woman) leave before its too late!

  10. Incompetence and gang behaviour : one for all, all for one…….
Ignoring all rules in investigating this case from the first moment should be enough proof of foul play and all involved should have to pay in a way or another for not having done their job.
    It's as simple as that.

  11. No way, that man did not kill himself. The ex husband I think paid the coroner off to rule it a suicide. I honestly thing the ex husband and the sons killed him because his wife found out he was leaving and came up with some kind of ruse, like he hit her or something and then it went from there. I don't think she was in the house at the moment it happened. This case got covered up and buried by way to many people.

  12. This is such a tragedy. I’m sorry for Cary, family & friends. Corruption everywhere!
I did smile when the son said that his father thought he was funnier than he actually was… that’s what my kids say about me!
I hope this family gets Justice ❤️
