  1. Don't run if you are so out of shape, you can't run; that makes no sense. The woods were 100 yards from where the runner stopped out of breath. If he had made it to the woods, that cop wouldn't have chased him on foot through the woods. If you have drugs on you, lose the drugs before waiting on the cop. This is like a dunb & dumber movie.

  2. They can ask, but passengers don't need to identify themselves and can refuse if the officer is just fishing or has no articulable suspicion of them committing a crime, and they also need probable cause just like for searching your car. They do not have to provide them with any help with their investigation of suspcion because suspicion is not a crime…so the 4th amendment applies here to stand on your right to not be questioned or id'd by a fishing expedition.

  3. That was just like a Reno episode strait up lol. All the guy had to do was just follow instructions 😂😂😂. A lesson to everyone watching….JUST SHOW YOUR ID…DONT BE AN ASSHOLE AND YOULL DRIVE AWAY WITH AF MOST A TICKET 99.9% of the time. Dumbass lol

  4. Imagine guy walks back with Trooper Bird. Trooper Bird says “hey you got these warrants, I’m not arresting you on them though. “ You do have a valid license so I need to switch spots and drive the car.” Passenger says “No problem sir thank you and I’ll take care of my warrants.” They then switch spots no arrest and only a citation for the original driver. Which means everyone is happy. The mental gymnastics of some people to flip this on the trooper is mind boggling.

  5. It's pretty stupid how this is so complicated. It should be as simple as, no particularized RAS = No I.D. Fuck officer safety. How does a piece of plastic with some writing on it keep an officer safe?

  6. So the "LEGAL" reason you are seized as a passenger during a traffic stop is because any "reasonable" person would think they are not free to leave. So you are seized because you are seized. What mental midgets we have 'running' things.
