To people saying how remorseful he is…no He’s not remorseful, he’s just determined to make sure Denise goes down with him. He’s already going to jail for kidnapping. He doesn’t wanna leave Denise out chilling. His tears are an act. He’s confessing now out of revenge since he’s already going to jail for kidnapping he wants to make sure Denise pays for what she did and he wants to make it look like he’s remorseful and Denise is not so that she gets an equal or atleast longer sentence than him. He has trouble letting women go 🤔 also the murder was so heavily premeditated and calculated 💯 This guys no idiot that he was “manipulated” into killing his best friend for years. He wanted to kill him. He definitely has twisted morals though. For example cheating angers him when it’s done to him but not when he does it to someone else? Cheating on his wife with one woman is okay with him but when the lawyer asks about Angela he says no I was no was not leaving my wife to go partying with Angela..or even Denise had insanely twisted morals, murder is okay but divorce is not? that bullshit about how if God wanted Mike to live he would not have drowned (what is this game of thrones? Trial by God?) him and Denise are both sociopaths. In their heads all their actions are justified in some twisted way. Denise was the only financial beneficiary from Mikes death for almost 2.5 million dollars! This murder makes no sense without a financial beneficiary. Because if it was just about the affair, they could have gotten divorced. If it was just about having Denise all to himself, Brian would have benefited from the divorce but Denise would have been at a loss. It makes no sense that Brian would kill Mike, “co-incidentally” making Denise filthy rich and then hope that she would marry him one day and share the money with him. Denise’s involvement in the murder is the only version that make sense for the murder to have happened. She may have “chickened out” last minute and maybe Brian convinced/pressured her into going ahead with the plan. But she was definitely guilty.
Things that should have been investigated more:
1) how much Kathy knew maybe she didn’t tell the police about her “suspicions” or “knowledge” because she still wanted a chance to have Brian back or didn’t want the father of his child to end up in jail. Or was just scared for her own life.
2) Anslees parentage- Is Ansley even Mikes daughter? Their affair started right before she was born. Maybe that’s why divorce was not an option and why Denise did not want to share her custody with Mike. Mike did say him and Denise stopped having sex around the time Ansley was born. Maybe they stopped having sex before that? Meanwhile Brian says him and Denise were having sex 15 times a week. Just 4 weeks of that is enough to get any healthy young girl pregnant. Once Mike put two and two together he’d realise this wasn’t his daughter and neither she nor Denise would have been beneficiaries of the insurance money? Maybe that’s why they don’t confess about Ansley’s parentage even now. Because they want her to continue benefiting from the insurance money. Meanwhile they hate each other so the confession is more about revenge and not about remorse.

Who is the judge who ruled that Denise would get access to the 1.75 million dollars? I want his name. He was clearly paid off by Denise Williams and Brian Winchester. Why do we need judges if they just rubber-stamp the forged documents of murderers? Please, I would like to know the name of that judge. Shame on him, though I doubt he cares, he was doing the usual lazy, I work for the government thing.

A Florida woman convicted of helping mastermind the killing of her husband nearly two decades ago has been sentenced to life in prison, WJXT reports. A circuit judge sentenced Denise Williams on Wednesday, also giving her 30 years for conspiracy.

Williams was convicted last December of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Williams conspired with her husband's best friend — who was also her lover — to murder her husband on their sixth wedding anniversary in December 2000. Prosecutors argued that she plotted the killing in a scheme to get a $1.75 million life insurance payout.

Brian Winchester, the best friend, testified he had an affair with Williams and shot her husband in December 2000. Winchester helped authorities find Mike Williams' buried body in 2017.
