What about the mother in-laws that abuse the daughter in-law
No i think it sould be about the crime in the sentences. Also yes of course let the perp be aware of his or hers disrespect and how others feel on that disrespect before sentenced
You’re completely wrong actually about Colin and Kaitlyn. They were broken up during the time that he had a relationship with Moe. Including when he went out that afternoon with Mo. He had no reason to tell Kaitlyn where, or what he was doing, because they were not together anymore. Kaitlyn and Colin we’re still living together because they owned the place together still. Kaitlyn 100% is in the wrong. when they are broken up, he has zero reason to tell Kaitlyn about anything going on in his love life. When Colin and Kaitlyn slept together During the time they were broken up, that was Kaitlyn‘s choice. Kaitlyn was stalking Colin, and Moe! Colin is allowed to do whatever he wants during the break up. This is really important to remember Kaitlyn and Collin never got back together in a relationship. Kaitlyn chose to have casual s*x with Colin while they were broken up. Kaitlyn chose to still be around while they were broken up. this is the only report that I’ve seen that is painting Colin out to be some kind of player that was cheating when that’s the furthest from the truth. The facts are Kaitlyn was jealous and took it to a whole other level that resulted in the loss of an innocent life. Kaitlyn is an adult, she brought on emotional damage by her actions that could’ve been avoided. Kaitlyn should’ve removed herself from the situation, and completely cut off any involvement with Colin so that she could move on maturely. Kaitlyn was upset because Colin did not want to repair the relationship and get back together.
No, her actions in court are just that, actions in court!
Cheating should be a crime with imprisonment
I do think a defendant's attitude in court can also influence the length of their sentence; if they are abusive to everybody in court, their chances of ever being released should be greatly hindered because the odds are higher that they'll reoffend again.
My God get on with the story.
How can you discuss a case based on your culture? India is a corrupted country with medieval traditions. Even Indians, who live in the USA follow their common laws and you expect American understanding there
I love following some of these stories, but the melodramatic way the female host speaks is very off-putting. I'll take a pass and follow these cases on a different channel
Her boyfriend wasn’t really interested in Mo either. It was her crazy actions that made her BF more concerned for Moe.
How she spoke about her MIL should have nothing to do with her sentence.
I
Unfortunately, it's not against the law to bad mouth your inlaws.
Excellent presentation.
her behaviour in court should definitely be considered in sentencing. The murder victim is gone… but the family is still suffering. They are going to remember each and every moment from court and overthink it… have nightmare about it all life. if she defiles those moments… definitely it should be considered.
VERY TRUE
This last crazy chick needed to be free! No punishment to fit the crime for her. 😵💫
Reminds me of the
“Run Bambi, Run”
(However, I do believe Bambenick was framed by her husband). Who knows?
The Marriott?
That narcissist expected to be housed in Agra, at the Taj Mahal. 😵💫
Wow, the things people do to each other. In front of her children!!
Taunting the Mother of the victim?😡
Plain evil !
And in my opin 10:08 ion America is going to the dogs regarding genders… guns …. homelessness…. drugs… corruption during Covid …. medical insurance …. serial killers…. men going to south east Asia for sex tourism …. pedophiles…. and etc etc
How old were the two sons?
biggest reason in countries like india for divorce is cos the women wants to remove him from the mother in law or the other way round the mother in law controls him too much and wants to control her through him. hence western lifestyle of moving to a seperate house might solve these issues, but at the same time western has it's flaws, having a big family means your less likely do do deviant stuff and be a loser like a lot of western kids sit in their rooms all day long all year around.
I agree with the judge in mentioning the killer’s CHARACTER. His perspective based on his witnessing the defendant's demeanor and attitude is not unheard of at sentencing. American journalists simply dislike what was said because the American justice system affords women the softest fall legally possible when convicted of heinous crimes. Never mind she was convicted of the MURDER of her husband — or the facts revealed proved premeditation. Stop victimizing the FEMALE KILLER, PLEASE. She was proven guilty.
It is important to understand the dynamics of family in the culture (s) of India. Mothers of the husband has a high, revered status. For a daughter-in-law to publicly attack a mother-in-law is the lowest of lows. It is also natural that the father’s family is parenting the sons. Interesting that the lover (husband’s best friend) did not receive the same sentence. His coming to the house with the knife speaks to premeditation of murder. Very, very sad
This woman's commentary on the second story is insufferable.
Mike is so smiley. 😊
It’s usual in many southern Asian countries and also in middle eastern – Arabic countries that new wives most times in arranged marriages, are the slaves of the families and abused by the mothers in law. Podcast people should get informed first. Also boys in the family are treated differently from girls, to assume same vision as fathers, and will bring wives and the vicious cycle of abuse towards females! A shame!!
Lex is so painful to watch. Always trying to sound smart but he is not at that level. I wonder if he has an inferiority complex?
Anna, to answer your question- It may not be right, but it's refreshing. That woman essentially was revictimizing her husband's mother and family. I'm sure it happens here in the US too. (less extreme of course no hangings). The judge has discretion in sentencing and if you misbehave it won't help you.
This judge is waaaay out of line, a woman hater
Very interesting case & discussion ! By the way, the U.K. hometown for the Indian crime is spelt Derby but pronounced Darby.
Just don’t see what your issue is on how the judge brought up the treatment of the Mother in-law by the accused I think he was spot on! Your laughing about it made you look very unprofessional !!
