11. One thing I don't get is, who said he committed suicide!?! It makes no sense that the mother calls her daughter, to tell her he did that. No Police involvement, just cause mom said so, that doesn't happen. I know the crazy daughter did it, but she's mentally ill, and she got 30 yrs. I think if the parents would of agreed for her to take the medication and get counseling, she might be in a way better place right now, the dad too. Its sad that the parents went there own ways, and the oldest daughter was not accepted by him, that's so messed up. I don't think the mother and daughter really shed a tear, because he wasn't on board with treatment and the mom knew, the daughter could potentially do something bad, on top of what she already did. Its all sad.

12. She received no guidance and discipline frim a young age and that, plus whatever mental problems she may have had, made her a timebomb. It was jyst a matter of time before she would do something really monsterous and she did. Her mother and sister says she is not a monster, but she has no feelings or regrets. She may well have killed again, because the first time her father seriously disciplined her, she killed him.

19. Crystal's Dad is the victim. The poor man's wife lied to him about his paternity with the oldest daughter. That hurt him and caused the divorce. He loved Crystal and even though he didn't want her medicated it did seem like he cared about her. Maybe the Mom and oldest daughter are nervous in the interview. However, the oldest daughter mentioned that she is upset with Crystal because she was working with the man she knew as her Dad on repairing their relationship. The Mom seemed to be apathetic about her ex husband's death and her daughter's involvement in it. The Dad's friend and Crystal's friend showed more empathy towards his death than the Mom did.
