In this episode of Crimes and Consequences: A mysterious woman found dead in an Oslo hotel room. On May 31, 1995, in Oslo, Norway, a woman registered as “Jennifer Fairgate” was checking into the Plaza Hotel. As she signed her registration card, no one noticed that she signed “Jennifer Fergate” and not “Fairgate”. It was a very busy evening at the hotel, and the front desk employees failed to not only notice the name discrepancy, but they also never got a credit card or identification from Jennifer. A few days later, Jennifer was supposed to check out. But when she failed to do so, and also ignored several messages sent to her room TV, security was called. Security made their way to her room and then a shot rang out. Listen to this week’s episode to hear about the mystery of Jennifer Fergate.

why would u laugh?
I have watched mountains of true crime.
This however is the worst of all.
The stupid back and forth and over talking was irritating and her voice did me in.
I chose not to watch all of it.
Taking too long to get to the point. Lost my interest.
Lady on the right could do much better without the one on the left, no need for her, she only interrupts, swears, giggles every 5 seconds and makes this content seem trashy
Was there a connecting room? They could of got out that way.
I have an answer, maybe she's a double agent who knows many things…interesting work btw
Dude,,,, she was a call girl, her stuff was across the hall with Mr F ( AKA Mr Fairgate). Thats why there was nothing in the room but men's calogne. Or that was her cover!
Thanks for your video. It was very interesting ! That said, there is something that bothers me about this matter. Excuse me first for my English I am French but I would like to raise a few points which seem essential to me. If it is indeed a suicide, I would like to know how this woman (who was certainly not Norwegian but German) entered the country with a Beretta 9mm and 32 Parabellum cartridges. If she took the plane, I find it very difficult to believe that she would have been able to pass through the security gates without problem. In 1995, and I can testify to this, the technology already made it possible to scan the inside of suitcases, especially since the WTC attacks in New York in 1993, Occidental countries had increased their vigilance and were very careful.
And then what was the interest of taking a plane to a city hundreds of kilometers from home to end her life, even if it meant getting arrested and being suspected by the police of wanting to murder someone? Why not just do it somewhere not far from home?
So given that she certainly arrived in Oslo on May 31 (first night spent at the Plaza), logic would dictate that she arrived by plane without this weapon and that she would have obtained it in town during her stay. But in a clandestine way because the serial number was burned with acid, something I wouldn't have seen her doing herself, let alone in her hotel room (there would obviously have been traces). This would therefore imply that she had contacts in Oslo, and quite dubious ones at that…
Sorry, but I don't believe in thugs who provide a weapon and ammunition to a depressed woman who has chosen to end her life in a city far from home.
That said, the unfolding of these facts is plausible if the young woman was what we call in french espionage jargon a "barbouze", that is to say an agent whose mission is to carry out the dirty work (you will have understood me). The contract she was supposed to carry out may have failed and that is why another agent on site (or an enemy agent) liquidated her.
The presence of this watch on Jennifer's wrist is very intriguing because it contrasts sharply with the elegant and urban outfit she wore during her stay at the Plaza: it was a Citizen Aqualand diving watch of military origin used notably by certain marine forces, notably British, Danish and Italian. It has a depth gauge and a no-decompression limit table on the bracelet. In the intelligence field, such a robust watch is indispensable and constitutes an effective spying tool. In the 1990s, the Citizen Aqualand was very popular with divers. For those who don't think Jennifer was a spy, it's entirely plausible that she was an avid diver living or frequently traveling to the coast. Regardless, this watch could be a key clue in resolving her identity. There is a watchmaker somewhere who installed one of the three batteries found in the watch, which could provide additional information about its origin.
It would also be interesting to know from the airlines the passenger lists of the planes bound for Oslo on May 31, 1995, if of course they were kept, in particular on three evening flights: KLM, British Airways, SAS. I am firmly convinced that Jennifer Fairgate was a passenger on one of them, perhaps even with this false identity (because she had to have a passport to enter Norway).
Imagine yourself in her place with false documents: the Plaza receptionist asks you to fill out the information form but not your passport. Would you have taken the risk of writing a different name knowing that she may want to verify your identity later and therefore suspect something? A spy should under no circumstances arouse suspicion.
That other woman ruined the whole video ur better off telling the story by urself baby. She’s just there making unnecessary comments that aren’t beneficial or contributing anything to the story. Making remarks about insignificant things the whole time.. laughing when it’s a serious tone… just goofy asf
I love the both of you. I can’t wait to hear out the story as I’m in the middle of it and I just had to stop and give you a message. I had started this and unfortunately I couldn’t finish it and now I cannot wait my schedule so quirky that my hours are crazy but I love the two of you. I just want to give you kudos, and whatever that idiot said before she doesn’t know a story, it hit around the head
It was that cringe worthy accent for me on top of the obnoxious laughter
When she said the plaza hotel did anyone else say “was Eloise there?”😂
I LOVE watching every episode you ladies cover!!! Reminds me of every time me & my sister have girls night and sit down with the chaos of heathens around us as we laugh our troubles away while talking over true crime daily & your episodes!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
She was a spy for sure
Distasteful and unprofessional journalism ladies 👎
Maybe she was an assassin just a thought as to why she gave wrong age and spelt name wrong and all the weird stiff with clothes and the room cleaned of all her toiletries also
I don’t think it was professional as they would have silent equipment on there fire arms and how did the person get out the room of door was double locked from inside .i think this is weird story and I don’t really believe the security guard story .plus tha man across from her room was asked on the second but the security guard heard the shot on the third of June .i mean did he go up and let the man escape and distract staff as he didn’t radio through he went all way down lift then told the staff .how did the person get out the apartment
Is the lady with blonde hair Annie Elise sister her sister does crime on channel 10 to life she is brilliant at these stories and I’m sure she looks really alike Annie Elise sister
I like these type of uploads about crime but honestly can’t the friend stop interrupting it’s annoying as she can ask questions after you say a little more as it’s just too much jumping back and fourth be a lot easier if you just read out what’s happened then the friend can ask questions or write questions down .its just very irritating
FYI Ladies! I love you both and have been listening for years now! Thought id leave ya’ll a few kind words, seems you’ve got a lot of haters over here 😂
Is the lady on the left…a bit
tipsy? 🍷😬
Edit: Tonya, you may want to go your own way.
Yeah, but no i love mysteries, but these ladies turned me off with this. I even like the ones like this man and woman working together, and i enjoy. I had to leave another post because i had tried again but naw 🤣. 🏃🏾♀️
SOUNDS LIKE SHE WAS A SPY.
Theyre terrible at this, holy shit
I'll always love listening to Tonya and Talia. Y'all keep me entertained.
These two women are so not on the same page 🤦🏻♀️ the woman telling the story has already been corrected by her partner three times and it’s barely 2 minutes into story time… I also 18 K views in five days 🤔 I think I know why… I’m two minutes in and I’m out
puerile commentary worthy of the lowest form of journalism.
Security guards don't have guns in Scandinavia. Only cops are permitted to carry and use guns,at least here in Finland where I live.
I love these ladies! I look forward to their episodes every week. They are the only podcast I had to have on Patreon. Keep up the good work! Don't let the haters bring you down!!
These girls need some more guidance on How this is done. Blah ! Boring. This story is too slow for an actual show and you have no info about the case. Your both boring
What makes you laugh? Heartless 😅😅😅
