how did she see that her parents were shot when they were in the basement and she was "tied up" to a banister?
Im confused the dad said it was a white male.
I disagree with the forensic psychologist. Jennifer was clearly emotionally abused, and she had developed a delusion around her lies in order to avoid more emotional abuse. Her delusion was in danger of being torn apart, and she couldn't have that. There is such a thing in psychology where an individual is self-aware they are living in a delusion. The fact that everyone is so quick to jump over the potential emotional abuse because they're scared of offending the parents culture doesn't change the fact there was potentially emotional abuse occurring. Was any of this a good reason for murder? Absolutely not, and I'm not saying that. There were resources available to her where she could gotten help and gotten out had she chosen to utilize them. I'm saying that I disagree with the forensic psychologist on a professional level, which is something I am completely allowed to do as another psychologist.
Please, I don't want to hear it!! I love my parents and they were wonderful to me! I wish my parents MADE me attend college AND pay for it and want me to be a doctor!! I wouldn't have had a child at the age of 19 and out of wedlock. I would also be more financially successful.
The forbidden boyfriend 😂
they made a feature of this 5 years ago😊
Jenifer is a murder. Her dad gave her the option to leave she stayed. If you’re an adult and want to live in your parent’s home you need to follow their rules. She is a liar! She could have told the truth or leave
I’ve heard of two other cases just like this. The young people murdered when their college lies were exposed. Remember the guy who faked his degree and a job with SpaceX? He burned his parents in the fireplace. The young woman who bashed her mom‘s head in with a frying pan?
I remember a few years ago. A "bit" narcissist. 🙄
I think they should make a movie about these story.
Its stranger than fiction well put
unfortunately in some cultures this does happen, parents dictate what their children do and learn
This is happening so often 😢
Abused gil / Women Snapped
As a black immigrant, Asi@ns are more racist than Wh!te people.
It's one thing for a defense attorney to grit their teeth and mount the best defense possible. It's another to believe, and publicly support, an obvious bs story. That scum lawyer is no better than Dippolito's defense. Willing to throw anything that will stick, because they believe everyone in the courtroom is stupid.
This Jennifer's case is pretty old…
I think Dateline covered this story. One crazy story for sure!
Am i gonna be…O-rested??
You omitted so many key details in the Pan case. Terrible research!
05:02 it’s not actually out of the realm of possibility to recognize the sound of footsteps of specific people you live with :/
Sad that Jennifer didn't just leave when her father told her to if she was going to continue dating this guy. Also sad that they thought being Tiger parents was the right way to bring up their children, what a mess all the way around. In the second story what was this guy's reason for shooting this mother, that was insane. Lastly, the guy who carjacked with the babies in the backseat, he must still have some kind of soul that he took the children out and left them, so relieved the parents got them back unharmed.
America has no shortage of mu*rde*s and has numerous trials going simultaneously at any given time. There are so many that have started since the start of 2024, it's difficult to keep up. So can someone shed some light as to why some Youtubers keep dredging up these old cases??
Eerily similar to the Gonzales Family Massacre in Sydney Australia, except the son killed everyone and is now rotting in jail.
Suicide by proxy??? Laughable but she was very young…She and her boyfriend should have got their act together.
My younger sister was a compulsive liar since she was a child. Created a lot of problems in our family. I talked to a psy – he said that people are just born that way.
cmon this is not how you tell a story…. giving it away in the title….. just put it as a question mark: "who killed so and so..?" cmon!!!!!!! what a bombshell twist wouldve been!!!
This on Netflix: What did Jennifer do
Whoever would believe the LIE she told about hiring someone to kill her would believe anything! If you wanted someone to kill you, you would definitely make it so you get killed and no one else gets hurt and that still wouldn't explain how her Father heard her talking to the guys that tried to kill her mom and dad, if she wanted to die, she would have been screaming at the killers to ……shoot me not them!! I can't see how anyone could believe a SINGLE THING that she says!!!
Lesson of th Day: Control nothing and except people as they are. You only have the power to empower.
Sadazzs! Eeeeuuuu 🤮
