Carey Birmingham, 60, will be eligible for parole in Texas in just five years, after he was convicted of shooting his wife multiple times. The victim, Patricia “Rici” Birmingham, was recording on her cell phone when she was killed in 2021. Birmingham says he shot her in the heat of passion after he found out she was unfaithful. Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber discusses the unique case with Birmingham’s defense team, Anthony Osso and Dan Cogdell.

  2. Shame on the daughter for slamming her father and not her mother. Her mother stole over 100k from that man and cheated on him. She was complicit in her own death.

  3. Why was she standing there? She should have Fled the violent altercation
    SO SAD 😢 helpless soul
She should have left the scene (tbh she had the chance to save her life but she was dhumbb) save yourself no one cares we claim to be civilised but deep down were Animals

  4. Man, I miss my wife. My wife passed last month and this guy killed his wife. He should be ashamed of himself. He’s gonna have to live with that for the rest of his life. If you didn’t love her you should’ve just left. You didn’t have the right to take her life Because she was seeing another guy that doesn’t give you the right to take anybody’s life people fall in love and out of love all the time only people you hurt is the love wants your children and the family selfish individual.

  5. 10 years was too much based on the facts. She had an affair, provided 120k of his hard earned money to that low life. I hope he makes parole in 5 years.

  6. Sorry to say but she pushed him to that knowing everything he’s been through already and also why would you just stand there recording what did you think was going to happen 🤦‍♀️

  7. Ofcourse. All female jury. Do it as an all male jury for men who all got cheated on and their money stole nex5 time ok

  8. This disgusting 400 pound drunk only got 10 years? He could have taken her to court like a normal person. And all the horrible men on here defending him, yuk. Never getting married again, too many gross men out there.

  9. Would be nice for a psychologist to review this. Certain relationship patterns need to be recognized. This could have been prevented

  10. If you cheated on the man and apparently stole over $100k of his savings and he’s pointing a gun right at you threatening you, take your warnings and just get out of there.

  11. Her daughter says her mom was never physically abused but was financially and emotionally abused…. Right. The woman with her own job, her own money, access to all of ger husbands money and regularly leaves on trips both nationally and internationally without ger husband and soend literally at ger leisure, typically bringing their daughter on their travels is being financially abused. WILD

  12. Rock out with your c*ck out king👑
    Free Carey Birmingham
If she cheated on him and stole his money he was completely justified
She should have left if she was unhappy.

  13. It's amazing how many people think it was OK for this obscene apology for a man to murder his wife. Divorce is the solution not a callous killing & 5 years in prison? Shame on those involved.
