Bodycam footage shows a woman and her friend being pulled over for going 72 in a 55. While police were talking to the driver, he immediately believed she could’ve been drinking before getting in the car. The driver admitted that she had been drinking, alongside her friend who was a passenger in the car. Officers then gave her multiple sobriety tests, including her blowing into a breathalyzer where she blew exactly the legal limit. Officers let her off with a warning but gave her a speeding ticket and asked the two women to arrange a ride.

  1. How the entitled live. How hilarious would she have found it if her child was catapulted from her vehicle in the event of a crash? She found everything funny cos she knew her friends would do everything to minimise her wrongdoing. I detest people who drink and drive and those who show favouritism to them. They've obviously never had someone they love scraped off the highway due to a selfish, lazy person who couldn't be bothered to get an Uber.

  2. 42:18 Ya, imagine killing your child and we'll see if you're still smiling like that and about that. Especially since you didn't even make sure he was buckled. Or your passenger, which is your employee/tenant/neighbor.

  3. 3:30 People really believe that she deserved to be let go/have leniency just because she behaved how every adult should behave when interacting with law enforcement…wow! 🤦 Speeding ticket and child endangerment at minimum!!

  4. How is admitting to 2 drinks an issue and warrant all this?? These cops are going way too far with this dui stuff. This has to be a violation of human rights.

  5. So they really just ignored the fact that Jessica had an unbuckled kid in the car doing 75 in the car and failing the breathalyzer and field sobriety test. Wow. I can’t imagine

  6. At first I thought she was mature, made a mistake and realized the situation she put people in. But, towards the end I didn't feel like she knew the kind of break she was getting or understood gravity of the situation while having a casual conversation. The facts are she was drinking, spending and has a child who wasn't belted in.

  7. So she speeds with an unbuckled naked child in the car, while over the legal limit (.083.,) But she should be let go because she was let go because she was respectful. Her judgment was impaired, most likely because of the alcohol. Also if she was arrested, who’s to say her respectfulness wouldn’t had flown out the window, and she’d become a crazy psycho Karen. The other chick throws her cigarette down in front of the other officer after videoing them? Pretty disrespectful. I guess putting a child’s life at risk while driving drunk means nothing to these corrupt cops. BTW, I had a friend arrested for blowing a .07 here in Cali.

  8. These cops went over and beyond for this woman! They were very respectful to her and her passenger, but she was respectful to them as well👍👍

  9. In Australia we have random breath tests that our police do regularly on the side of the road using the same machine. If you are pulled over for suspected drink driving I don't think you even get a choice to do a breath test or not.

  10. The PBT is known to be under the actual BAC if she took the one at the station it would probably be a .10/.11 this shouldve been a DUI especially with the kid in the back

  11. Sure! Let’s all be happy for this lady that takes a small child for a drive in a lethal machine whilst impaired / intoxicated. The fact she drank 2 alcoholic drinks still shows a significant level of irresponsible parenting putting her child’s life in danger.

  12. The reason she wasn’t arrested is because she’s a newly-elected Nelson County, VA Board of Supervisors member, Jessica Ligon. She is also a very well established veterinarian in the community.

  13. Oh come on she's not drunk. She did very well on the tests, the best I've ever seen. What's the matter with this officer. If they charge all charges will be dropped.

  14. The road side test is not used against her. By the time she made it back to the station she would have blown under the limit. Which is used against you.

  15. Why does US keep doing these silly tests when they have breathalysers? a I don’t get it. What a waste of time. Our cops give you a breathalyser on the side of the road. No straw, no blowing, just speaking near the machine. If that shows you’re over the limit, they take you to the cop shop for the official breath analysis.

  16. The woman blew a .08. One officer said “well let’s wait and see if it goes up” Really?! That’s unfair. She could very well have been home “before it went up”. She was very respectful and had class. She wasn’t drunk.

  17. I enjoyed this video – I believe these officers are the greatest – I know people will say this or that – but they are honest and fair – These are the law enforcement that I grew up knowing. We need officers like these – and no they should not get in trouble – they should be commended.
