Two teenage girls, formerly best friends, got into an argument at a smoke shop in Columbus, Ohio in 2023. The altercation escalated when then-18-year-old Bryanna Barozzini stabbed 17-year-old Halia Culbertson in the neck after taking the spat outside. Barozzini initially claimed the stabbing was in self-defense and almost stood trial for murder until she took a guilty plea for involuntary manslaughter. When I see What happened is the girl that passed away she’s the one that brought the knife. In the beginning she would not go away. She insisted in fighting caused her own death. The other girl was backing up trying to avoid a fight. The other girl kept pushing forward, so in my eyes I’ve seen this happen before it was the girls fault they got stabbed in the neck. She should’ve never brought a knife to fight. The parents accusing other girl did this on purpose. I don’t think she did it on purpose.

Unpopular opinion, but I think the blonde girl should have left when she walked to her car with her nonalcoholic drinks that her lawyer pointed out because the video shows her walking all the way to her car. And she obviously wasn't attached or dragged from her car or we would have been told this. So she had ample time to leave but ends up face to face anyway with Halia?? Seems to me like she wanted to stick around and claim self defense when all she was really doing was following through with her text message of if Halia gets near her she'll slice her neck. Because that's exactly what she did.

Okay I was jumped a few years ago and did almost the same thing ..I served 3 months for stabbing yet after the video they released me from prison..this looks like self defense..the brother is a coward for filming..sad these are kids and they probably would have talked later about this ..sad for both families
Unfortunately both side are nor wrong or right. For the family to paint the other girls image as evil and a betrayer is wrong and only think that because their daughter lost her life to self defense by the opposing person

Halia was the aggressor 100%. She pushed, slapped, and assaulted Bryanna MULTIPLE times before Bryanna pulled the knife to DEFEND HERSELF. The fact that the prosecution wanted to call it first degree murder is insane.
