  1. imagine being the hotel receptionist seeing a whole swat team walk up to your counter with a sniper outside

  2. The dude made it past boot camp, he didn't have much training after that. I'm not even sure if he even finished the artillery training school. I probably have more training, in handling firearms, than he had, and I was in the freaking Air Force. And if he really had 'the training', he wouldn't have had the negligent discharge. Or,…maybe he really did intend to pull the trigger to murder her. The ONLY reason to have your finger on the trigger is to shoot. I'm not buying his story that he accidently pulled the trigger.

  3. I feel really bad for the dad I’m almost certain if he met the victims family he would have done everything he could to comfort them I just hope he’s able to heal from the heartbreak and I really hope the family doesn’t blame him in anyway for his grown sons actions that he was absolutely disgusted with his sons actions

  4. Well there you go…throwing water at someone. Now I understand why they did that, doesn't make it right, BUT….why are you throwing water at someone?

  5. I do find it hard to believe that it went off. He had to take the safty iff to use it. People don't normally drive with a weapon, not on safety

  6. this is heartbreaking, the father of the killer breaking down is so sad. and the poor niece who had to witness everything and the overall trauma of it all is so heartbreaking 💔

  7. The victim should've never told the girl to throw the drink, you never know how far someone else is willing to take it unfortunately

  8. Imagine if that QuikTrip was demolished that day and not the next day. They probably wouldn't have found him

  9. James Taylor is a caring dad. This tragedy is a perfect example of why people don't need to carry guns. Too easy to use them when you're upset and lose control.

  10. Left the cart at the front, pulled the van up instead of walking to it, pulled in front of a speeding car, brake checks said car, then plays victim by saying I have kids in the car. She sounds super entitled, kids didn’t deserve that though. Rip

  11. I can’t fathom what made the jury give him so much leniency. In 17 years he will be out of prison trying to return to society. I only wish I could believe in reform

  12. He actually said that he admits to a "negligent discharge"–as if there was an opposite version, like a "thoughtful, caring discharge" of a gun towards a minivan carrying kids. People like that shitbag are the default average American: no regard for anything whatsoever but their own egos and their guns.

  13. So she brake checked him them ordered her neice to throw her cup at his moving vehicle. The brake check is considered reckless driving in most states and is illegal, and throwing anything at a moving vehicle is a felony known as throwing a deadly missile at a vehicle … from what I understand. Now you may think it's just a cup of water, but try driving safely while someone throws a large glass of water at you. Anyway, I think the two girls do hold some of the responsibility and the niece should have been charged with throwing the cup at him. Not saying he should have gotten off either. I think the judge gave him a fair sentence. Even hockey has a two minute penalty for instigating, and the girls definitely instigated this with their two criminal actions, but no gun should have been introduced into the frey.

  14. I am so grateful for people like you. I lost my son last year have no clue who killed him as people that don’t have closure, don’t have a life. It’s bad enough that we don’t have a normal life those who do have closure, but we have nothing. We have no life at all.

  15. So pathetic. Cops and military always use their training as an excuse. His training kicked in and he accidentally discharged his weapon perfectly into the front windshield and into her chest..? I don’t know what kind of training that is, but he’s either John Wick or Gomer Pyle

  16. If you aren't in control of yourself at all times, please don't put a gun in your car. There is nothing more dangerous than you at that point.

  17. First of all he wasint being shot at or a knife drawn on him ..he said a water bottle …he killed that girl …may you rot in prison the rest of your life

  18. AIT then discharge, this guy acts like he was kicking doors in Fallujah. What a poser! As a vet, I am not sure I would accept that he is a vet without actually doing anything.
    His dad broke my heart.
The girl who got hit, should have not thrown a bottle at him and just not even engaged. She would be alive if she just slowed down and let him drive away.

  19. This is horrible. I guess it’s just because I’m older. But every time I watch something about a young person getting killed. Well, especially the young ladies. To me, they look so young but they’re all just beautiful looking gals. I know that doesn’t matter. But, I can’t find a bad feather on them. I get overcome thinking about the grief the families must feel. The void created must be huge. When my children were babies I would be watching their mother feeding them in the mornings. And, I would think how lucky the kids were to look up first thing every day. And, see this angelic face looking down and smiling at them . That’s what I feel have taken away from them when I hear a story like this. And it saddens me.
