An Indiana mother of three was shot in the head while making a TikTok video with her friend on August 10. Kaitlynn Lee was shot after she heard banging on her window and went to investigate. Her friend said the person outside was Lee’s ex-boyfriend, Joshua Thompson, who allegedly fired two to three shots at Lee. Law&Crime’s Elizabeth Millner breaks down the tragic story.

3:18 ppl with protective orders and restraining orders shud be forced by law to have ankle monitors!! There shud be a way to make sure they are abiding by the orders and the fact that this hasn’t happened by now with all these ppl dying after these orders are put in place is crazy to me!!!!!! 😡 they need ways to have these ppl watched cause clearly PAPER isn’t enough to have this victims safe from death!!!

No contact order, blah, blah, blah…. Restraining and no contact orders are a complete joke…. They only work if the party with whom the restraining order is for actually decides to obey it. So many times these things never work, and this is proof.
