Miranda Sipps, 12, died soon after reaching a Texas hospital at the end of July. Now her mother, Denise Balbaneda, and stepfather, Gerald Gonzales, are facing charges of injury to a child by omission. They aren't. I noticed in a case I just watched where a woman molested a 12 year old boy and the boy was labeled a teen to help her defense. Just saying that calling her a teen might be helping portray her as an adult.
