This is stupid. Nobody would need rent or mortgage freeze if the people in power implemented ubi for the duration of this crisis. Without the stupid means testing. Give Everybody a check and all landlords will get paid.

There's been absolutely no scientific discussion or debate with regards to methodology of the PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) test that is determining who is actually "infected". No scientific discussion or investigative journalism that researches or challenges the whole COVID-19 Virus issue. This isn't science when only one ideology is presented without challenge.
No media discussion that China stopped testing for this virus and began using CT scans for lung/respiratory problems (but listing those with respiratory problems as positive for COVID-19!). No discussion that protests in China's Wuhan province was due to the ridiculously high pollution and respiratory problems that have been affected… Italy's normally high respiratory problems and the overloaded ICU due to "potential COVID-19 cases". No discussion or reporting on the historic corruption in the CDC & WHO. The profiteering of the extremely corrupt Dr. Anthony Fauci who is a master of Science-by-Press-Conference (and systematically blocks Virologists/Scientists who challenge the 'official' position).

But according to our landlord, we still owe them ALL of the rent per our rental/lease agreement on top of the penalty fees they're going to be tacking onto what we owe them.

Luckily, for me, I can, and I am, falling back on doing some freelance work from home, but I haven't worked as a freelancer in quite a few years and I don't have the business contacts that I had built up for that business anymore … so, for me, I'm going to have to rebuild a whole new clientele base.

Maybe it will take universal homelessness for working-class racists to see 1) they're in the same boat as the rest of the working-class and 2) their transnational corporate masters used them to get rich(er) at their expense.
