A cop falsely arrested him for DUI, but what his lawyer uncovered is even worse – Everything Law and Order Blog

The troubled police department of the Northern Colorado city of Loveland is already under fire after a civil rights lawsuit alleging a pattern of overzealous DUI enforcement leading to multiple false arrests. In this episode of the Police Accountability Report, hosts Taya Graham and Stephen Janis break down the body camera footage of one encounter between a Loveland police officer and an innocent motorist, revealing how the creation of financial incentives to overpolice the public has dangerous consequences for police and residents alike.

  1. LOVELAND AGAIN?!?!!!….my god they just don’t care it’s like one cop does something and another one comes up and is like here hold my beer

  2. Good content, but holy cow, how many distracting, unnecessary edits can you do? 10x too many. Interviews are obviously prerecorded, but presented as live. Feels awkward. The production quality interferes with your message.

  3. This is why we as law enforcement officers are being murdered in the streets. Our injustices are coming back to destroy us.💯

  4. I worry about this. I live in a state that REQUIRES on site breathalyzer. I never drink and drive so I will always blow zero.

I am also concerned about lawyers who will sell you out, like Trump’s attorneys.

You need to ASK your lawyer if they too will sell you out.

    Sanjosemike (no longer in CA)

  5. This is hilarious when she says statistics can show drunk drivers wreak havoc.
How do they know how many people made it home safely drunk. 🤯
Statistics would mean you had a control group, whatever statistics you're talking about show them and show me how many people made it home drunk.
And somebody who doesn't drink, I don't have a problem with them arresting drunk drivers.
But I used to get pulled over a lot from my swing shift at the brewery and you cannot guess how many times I got taken in to blow nothing on the breathalyzer because I smelled like a brewery. 🤔
And yes my name went into a database of somebody who sued them so many times when they pulled me over they would just yell at me on their PA to take off.

  6. In this video it is clear this man wasn't breaking any laws. All he was doing was driving too slow. For this reason the cops wouldn't believe their own breathalyzer test and still arrested him due to his actions. I have seen a lot worse action against cops than this video. This innocent man has fallen victim to cops eggo. This eggo is they are alway right and citizens are wrong. I keep on saying it because it is the way cops are being trained. To lie. Take away cops can legally lie and take away their eggo.

  7. I got arrested because i walked my dog around 8pm after dinner, and during the walk she saw another dog in the neighborhood house bay window and pulled me hard and i wiped out hard, and i didnt realize until i got home that my keys fell out of my pocket, however after the walk i let my dog in my fenced backyard and doubled back for my house keys and me squating with my phone flashlight to find my keys and a cop rolled up on me and arrested me and charged me for public intoxication, i was in a cell for HOURS! And denied me to make a call until the one good cop after shift change made a call for me, they never breathalized me or took my blood, but that upper moreland police for you in PA, it cost me my job after 11 years, and there is nothing I can do, no wonder why people hate the police, they ruined my life for walking my dog on Friday night sober. How is that illegal?

  8. This is why i personally don't like cops. Shamed on the judges, DAs, supervisors and fellow cops that protects them. CORRUPTION, CORRUPTION AND MORE CORRUPTION.

  9. There is a very similar case in Iowa (I think Newton, IA). It was an underage guy who passed all of the field sobriety test AND blew 0.00 but was arrested for DUI. And they also pulled the "I smell marijuana".

  10. That happened to me , the deputy ask the sheriff right in front of me ( what you want to do with him he’s not drunk) . Put me in jail anyway.

  11. See this is pathetic, disgusting, and Unacceptable! We the people pay taxes which are then used to hire cops that are Don't know the laws they've been hired to uphold, violate our Civil Rights almost every time they talk to a citizen by forcing us to ID ourselves or face jail time, and saddest of all we're paying these cops to cover for each other when they do something wrong, break a law, and no one holds police to a HIGHER STANDARD anymore period! It's time for the people to have checks and balances against the police since they obviously think they are above the law, don't have to follow the laws they've been hired to enforce and most of the cops don't even know the mass majority of the laws they charge us for breaking or our Civil Rights they break all the time and tell us they don't care about as they threaten arrest if you don't ID, stop filming etc…

  12. Qualified immunity is not a law, it was fabricated by the US Supreme Court in the 1960's. When they take a blood test sample from you, watch to see if they use an alcohol pad to wipe first. If it is not completely dried, it makes your blood alcohol level a false positive. End the federal payment incentives, it is cooking the books to continue the expanse of federal budgets.

  13. Police unions are the free citizen civilians’ worst enemies. THEY are why LEO’s don’t worry about consequences and accountability.

  14. What I want to know is WHAT will happen to this lying cop? “Overwhelming odor of alcohol “. A blatant LIE. Why isn’t this bastardized CHARGED? This really pisses me off.

  15. when the police in Loveland show their true colors and nothing happens to them then do we even have a constitution or did we really ever anyway it doesn't seem to have any power to do anything because they don't care and they show us every day that they don't

  16. False charges are a terrible destructive crime. It is oppression, under the color of law. This behavior is a leftist tool, to create "Fear of government" in the citizenry, as a whole. This is a tyrant based way of controlling, humiliating, and abusing, ordinary citizens into silence, and compliance. Both crimes are equally destructive, but this one, erodes the community as a whole.
