Airbnb Pressured to Remove Listings in Illegal Israeli Settlements on Occupied Palestinian Land

2. Airbnb isn't participating in the BDS campaign. They're acting on legal advice. If they're taken to court for doing business with the illegal settlements, they could be found complicit in war crimes. That's not a good look for their world-wide holiday brand. This is an act of prudence, not heroism. And that's a very good sign. It means that companies are walking away from Israel because it's just not worth the hassle and legal peril. Incidentally, I'd love to see Israel employ one of its U.S. front groups to sue Airbnb for pulling out. They'd have to stand before an American judge and explain why the settlements aren't in violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention barring states from introducing elements of their own civilian population into occupied territory. That day can't come too soon.

3. BDS! Zionism is not Judaism. It has nothing to do with religion. It is a racist political movement. Do not let the Zionists hide behind Judaism or put a distance between Jews and Muslims or anyone else. Jews and their families have been migrating and living peacefully in Palestine for generations. Zionists, bankrolled by the Rothchilds, arrived with the intention to remove the existence of Palestine and Palestinians through expulsion and mass murder. And this was since before WW2. They were backed and armed by the British military. Despite the Zionist terror attacks on the British.Today it's the US.

   Palestinians gave been terrorised for over a century. We need to stand together. Despite being oppressed themselves, even they stood up for their oppressed brothers and sisters in Apartheid South Africa. Our humanity has to be stronger than the Zionists' excitement for Palestinian blood.

   As of this year, illegal Israeli settlement goods have been banned from being imported to Ireland. It was fought for for a long time. Settlement hoods are internationally recognised as illegal yet it was a struggle to enforce it in just one Western country. Do what you can in yours.

   Governments were pro-apartheid in South Africa. It took dedicated, persistent civilian action from all walks of life to end apartheid.

6. If the listings is on land illegally occupied by Israel, Israel has no legal standing in any US court, and probably no court except in Israel.
