Senators Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Richard Blumenthal, Sherrod Brown, and Mayor Bill DeBlasio, among others, all came out to the DC National Airport to express their support for airline food workers, who intend to strike for higher wages and health care

  1. Who cares about the puppet-government? This is about the WORKERS, not sell-out's to the corporations. 'Candidates",(puppets) just wanna ride their shirt-tails, and say, "oh yeah, I'm totally down with this and for you people…." Yeah, right. Not buyin' it. He wants to infiltrate it and take it over, so he can run it into the ground.

  2. Disgusting when you think about how much money the airlines and restaurants actually make in PROFIT. Nobody can do a damn thing without other people. We are all important.

  3. Of course the Presidential Candidates would support the strike, they want to look like they care which they really don't. I can't believe that people have not caught on to this scam.

  4. Give the caterers free flights, cheap hotels on holidays, just like the attendants, and the pilots – all one big family. Go team!

  5. I believe BERNIE —- BERNIE 2020
Liz, who are your masters? I know that you are taking corporate cash now, Bernie isn't – why are YOU???
If you are for the average American, stand behind BERNIE in 2020!!

  6. This is amongst the many reasons why we need to elect Bernie Sanders the next President of these United States. Bernie/Tulsi 2020!

  7. The solution is easy, if every single person from the mechanics to the pot-washers goes on strike, trust me you will all get what is owed to you. Just imagine if all airlines are grounded for a week or more what will happen to their bottom line profits. Shit I am still pissed off over the luggage fees. Also I bought a ticket for my niece to spend the summer with us in California, she is one month shy from her fifteenth birthday, the round trip ticket was $230.00, the shocker came at the airline desk, I got hit with a hidden fee of $150.00 each way to accompany a minor and $30 for luggage each way, so $230 for the ticket and $360 for luggage and hidden fees. Let me ask you all what's wrong with this scenario?

  8. The fact that this "company union" is supported by "moral capitalists" such as those touted above does not recommend itself to those on strike. Reagan turned food service contracts over to private interest when he deregulated the airlines in the 1980s. This union was crushed or sold out ages ago This strike like the various teacher strikes/protests will fail to make much if any improvement in these workers lives.

  9. Warren…eye roll. She says one thing then crawls into bed with the corporate enemy. Accept NO substitute…FEEL THE BERN 2020🔥🔥🔥

  10. Whole Foods started paying their employees $15/hr. And then they cut their hours to 20 per week. Because originally the wage was 7 somethin. They will definitely give them 15 an hour, I believe. Then they'll hire 60 more people. And cut everyone's hours. Watch

  11. America! EVERYTIME I use the airport….one of these FOREIGNERS steal something out of my luggage. The last time [they] stole my laptop….while airport SECURITY filmed the incident and found humor in these crimes…. my thoughts about raising pay rates for people who serve peanuts and 6-oz cups of beverages…. $#!+ @$$ F**kers!

  12. The very essence of corporate fascist capitalism
Increase profits for corporations by working the workers faster and harder longer for less money!
