As Prison COVID-19 Cases Rise, A Mental Health Crisis Intensifies

1. I am experiencing right now two sons in prison who are having devastating responses! Every since COVID-19 my son Jordan Jackson has had one psychotic episode after another! He swallowed a razor blade, taking prescribed mental health medications that are causing him seizures. Hes fallen, bumped his head. Called to say, "Mom I been thinking about killing myself". Now in between this there is no continual, as treatment plan specified, so my son is in this psychosis continually without intervention! Now Jordan Jackson is on suicide watch. Please allow me to raise my sons voices about this injustice. My sons are crying for help and I fear for his life! I would love to participate in an interview. My name is Cheryl Canson. 2. The total sum of human suffering due to the school to prison pipeline is killing the soul of America. Every second black guy in the USA probably has PTSD from poverty, prison or the military industrial complex.

3. The ACLU is nothing but a damn joke. They do the Governments bidding. They help the Government bring forth fake cases all while they ignore real cases. They do this to help the courts create precedent and legislate from the bench. They are also funded by the same entity that sends people to prison on completely false and fraudulent charges….the Dept of so called Justice!

4. The news reporter in this episode seems to believe that they care about the mental well being of the prisoners. I would just like to say that he has it all wrong. "They" within the Government and prisons have never cared about anyone else's well being or rehabilitation, even if it amounts to cruel and unusual punishment. Yes, it is ridiculous but so many people have not cared about their fellow country men and women for decades already so they just keep taking more and more of peoples liberties and lives. AND they are going to keep on harming people until we the people have finally had enough and put our foot down!!

   Not sure what we all are waiting for! Because eventually, it is going to be you and me who are the people they are going to be doing this to!!!
