  1. trump probably cancelled the money due to california's poor ability to handle money. $1B is a shitload of money to just get wasted and eaten up by greedy, corrupt california politicians like nancy 'skeletor' pelosi and gavin 'fakest smile ever' newsom

  2. San Diego area is not great, but it's a hell of a lot better than Orange County that has done absolutely nothing to create a mass transit system other than street busses. Even L.A. has made a lot of progress in this area in the last 25 years. The bottom line is that there is not nearly enough money to be made in rail ticket fares, as there are in vehicle registration fees, smog inspections, $180 designer license plates, the list goes on. It's corruption at it's worst. It's gone on for so long now that unless you're a person in your mid 20's and younger, you will never see any improvement in this area in your lifetime.

  3. 6:30 it's astounding that in south bay of the SF Bay Area since I moved here in 2006 that despite so many tech giants here bringing revenue into this state that the interstates here still have no proper elevated on/off-ramps, just shitty ground-level that get so backed up. W. Europe had better public transport back in the 90s! Ur being robbed.

  4. I wanted to go down to San Diego on public transportation to visit some friends and I found that it would take me all day to go just one way. Once you get to the main city, there is the light rail line and an Amtrak stop but, like he said, it's really hard to do anything but go around the city and go up and down the coast. I did take the light rail to Mexico one time. It was great for that, but I live well inland and stuff just doesn't connect up right. Even where there are buses and such to get places, the times don't like up with one another. That is my biggest pet peeve about public transportation and that's what really makes it a nuisance and something that takes a really long time. I bought a bicycle and so that helps but it would be nice if people who design these public transportation systems were also people who actually had to take the bus too because it seems pretty obvious that they don't understand the problems with it.

  5. Unfortunately a lot of carbon dioxide pollution in San Diego actually originates from Tijuana Mexico.

Go stand on a hill in TJ and you'll see why 😷

  6. Thanks again TRNN for covering California's issues, we might be little people over here on the coast, but there are 30 million of us, and our problems are a microcosm of Americas, and demonstrative of how even with somewhat reasonable Democratic governance, we still cannot escape the harms of national BS policies.
You, TRNN hosts & fans are always welcome to visit, and if you ever come to SoCal, I am happy to play tour guide, or teach surfing lessons in Orange County.

  7. Certainly an interesting report, but I'll need to wait for additional future reports about the topic in order to better or more fully understand.

  8. However, we luv our Max lines in PDX…sumday eye see we will likely have a ""West coast super highway running from Mexico to Canada-Cali-Oregon-Wash; like Europe has…

  9. Living Green is if the people dont want it, they get it because we want it. Living Green is if the people dont want to move and let the train go throw we bring out the DEW and not mounting DEW EITHER . lIVING grEEN IS WHEN YOU GET FED disaster money it goes to build the train. Mein Fampf would be jealous of living green . Wht didnt i sink of that.

  10. America needs to look at how other countries are living green, then faze them into everyday life. Denmark is probably the most environmentally conscious country on the planet today.
