  1. I don't get it. How can you frame this as FPÖ gaining ground when opinion polls for both the national elections and the european parliament have FPÖ losing voters the last month. Not to mention the factual percentage point losses in the EU elections.

  2. It also explains why Strache and his party suffered a blow only internally and not on the EU scene. The US has nothing against a rise of nationalism in Europe: divide and conquer! Gods bless the Roman empire, such an inspiration for the British colonialism and its disciple the US imperialism.

  3. Sorry guys but you're not getting the real cause that underlies all these developments. It's again geopolitical: US against Russia. This is how the US pulls the strings and shapes their sphere of interest. Thru CIA and provocations. Strache was stupid and corrupt enough as a bait. Same old song about Russian oligarchs buying up the world Haha while who owns the world, really? Kurtz's Gov was way too liberal towards Russia. Boom, video, provocation, crisis – change of the government. Poor Austria is in no better position that Latin America. Bow to the master!

  4. If you believe in national sovereignty then you are obviously far right. So in all of recorded history the world has been far right…and just recently in the last few decades has the far right been pushed back by the well reasoned centrist of global economics and government control. Yeah keep trying to convince people of that. Only the very young and stupid believe that….maybe that is why you leftist put so much effort into getting to young minds to indoctrinate them…up is down..left is right. People are waking up.

  5. This maan is telling a very untrue one sided story ;as far as for the just released of his duties Innenminister [Secretary of the Interior],Herbert Kickl,it is a fact that he implicated strict meassures to stem and reject the influx of some criminal "Refugees",and is seen by most Austrians in a very positive light!

  6. This is a textbook example of how clueless "centrist" neoliberals empower the far-right. Firstly, the politician in this scandal wasn't randomly caught while breaking the law, he was essentially set up and entrapped in a sting operation. Secondly, the first female chancellor wasn't elected, she is only the interim leader until the next election so making a big deal out of the "first woman head of state" after she was brought in due a contrived scandal that collapsed the government just adds insult to injury to people who already feel their party was unfairly targeted. Do the idiots who make these moves know nothing about human psychology?

  7. Thank you for reports on Austria & the rest of the world. We (US) used to get international news, despite it being biased. Now, we hear absolutely NOTHING from MSM. An isolationist mentality is being manufactured. Even major city newspapers no longer report global news. Despite the growth of online news & political analysis, even it provides little about the rest of the world unless the tRump administration is fomenting war abroad. I have never heard/read of even one US citizen complain about this situation. The people of the world are being divided through enforced ignorance of our country's populace.
