  1. Income-based water billing, that, in itself, seems like strange terminology to me, due to thinking that water billing should, instead, be based on volume consumed or used, including wastage, such as with leaks with faucets, f.e. I wonder what the billing difference would be between these two types of billing. What happens if a person or family has a high household income but makes relatively little use of publicly provided water; should they pay more than people with low incomes but who consume far more water? I think billing based on volume makes sense and that level of income isn't pertinent. And if billing based on volume happens to be too expensive for people on very low income, then the govt could surely help with this, including at relatively little cost for the govt. If people would be against that and not also against rogue govt "waste" of taxpayer dollars for military, war, etc., then such people have no respectable opinion whatsoever. It'ld be far better for taxpayer dollars to be used to truly benefit society, rather than being used to profit Big Oil, MIC, and so on. Society could then greatly improve and the financial savings could be tremendous.

  2. How about… water is a fundamental element for all life, including humanity, jail those who are profiting on it. Capitalizing on an element is going to lead to corruption. Ask Flint Michigan

  3. Basic necessities to life, are NOT entitlements in the USA. Access to Water is NOT a RIGHT. The Government doesn't OWE survival to its population.
If basic biological needs aren't supported by the Government for ALL it shouldn't be supported for ANY of the population.
No more Wealth Redistribution. If people can't pay for the survival of themselves and their families, TOO BAD YOU PARASITES.

  4. So high income earners are going to move away because they can afford to. That'll leave only the poor to pay for water service. Will that do what you want in the long run?

  5. Wooow, so is this democracy???
Bc I earn more I have to pay more for everything. . . Won't it kill any initiative to be successful???

Firstly, progressive income tax is one of the biggest frauds of all time now they will push such system for everything

At the end we will be paying for gas, bread, milk and everything according to our income

It looks like commusim to me:)

  6. I dont think that would work. Fixing faulty meters might, though 🤔 then theres those new electric meters "no charge",now theres added charges. Aaaaand, who will pay for the batteries,HMMMMM???!!!

  7. And these are the policies that cause middle and upper income earners to flee California. Many progressive policies are like religion, they mean well, but it's absolute poison, and they will not change their minds no matter the evidence.
