  1. Wow! A scandal involving a Baltimore Mayor?! Please, this is not the 1st scandal in the history of Mayoral doings, and especially Baltimore.

  2. This piece is EXCELLENT! A microcosm of what’s happening across the country: Pay to play, the 1%, corruption, the public/private joke, private police forces …Kudos to a very rare high integrity elected official and a really really good investigative reporter TRYING to reinstate integrity in government.

  3. Hummmm, now let's see: Sheila Dixon, corrupt; Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, politically tone-deaf and hopelessly entitled; Catherine Pugh, corrupt. Check. Voters need to start looking more closely at what they are voting for. The city is spinning out of control with crime and drugs, you have to send your kids to an unaffordably expensive private school unless you want them beaten up daily, and Pugh can't think of anythng better to do than to cash in on her power? Please, is Kurt Schmoke still available? Or Martin O'Malley? I think they were the last mayors who understood this job is supposed to be about public service, not about become rich and fabulous.
