  1. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

  2. Wow, the woman ask "who got the discussion of reparations going again", knowing the answer, because of her awful take earlier (African descendants of people brought here to be slaves), #ADOS is definitely being shut out. R U TIRED OF RACISM? Our divisions weaken our argument.

  3. What did she call us, African descendants of people brought here to be slaves, why can't we all agree that the term #ADOS makes sense, rally around the #ADOS movement and make reparations viable. #ADOS should be given credit for reviving the discussion of reparations, the rest of these organizations should respect that.

  4. "…Or, the descendents of Africans brought to the U.S. to be enslaved." This is why I respect y'all so much. It's the little things.

  5. It's amazing how many so called progressive news media are ignoring ADOS. Letting Ben and Jerry's get credit for the work of new gen x and millennial grassroots activists. But it's all good. We have our own media. We have our own voice. And we speak directly to everyday ADOS. Left wing racists, right wing racists, your days are numbered.

  6. ANY anti-Reparations argument is basically saying this: White ancestors stole and killed, fair and square, so that their children, children's children, and so forth, could enjoy the spoils from crimes committed against black people.

  7. More white liberals need to do this. The Young Turks, The Damage Report, and other white liberal social justice platforms, need to push for Reparations.

  8. They get paid to talk in circles and do nothing. How many decades as "black" leaders? ADOS been at it 2 years and already has things moving. These people are traitors. Project Takeover" is a great idea. They purposly omitted Yvette and Tones names (Darrity and Anderson too).

  9. Unfortunately I see everything devolve into issues of race and other such things. The elite love it because it keeps the fight amongst the real slave class which is the masses of have nots. Slaves fighting slaves. By allowing some slaves to enslave other slaves it helps the entire slave farm enslave itself and keeps the focus off the slave masters at the top. Everywhere in the world and throughout history, groups of the powerful enslaved groups of the powerless. 100,000, or possibly even 3 times that, peasants in europe massacred when they revolted, and that's just one revolt.

Personally I think it's better to just spread the wealth among all the disenfranchised. It would overwhelmingly, percentage wise by race go to or help black people in the U.S. anyway, or perhaps the natives, since by % they've been the most fucked over. But this way, instead of compensating for one form of racism with reverse racism (because it ignores anyone else who got fucked over, whether as an individual or a group), it compensates those who have been economically disenfranchised in general.

There will always be one artificial excuse after another to drive some slaves to enslave other slaves. The elite like to fan the flames of these various prejudices and conflicts among people. Race, religion, ethnicity, etc. Unfortunately, people are too easily seduced into these silly conflicts while ignoring the real power moves being wielded upon them by the ones with true power. At the end of the day it's really a matter of power/wealth grabs and utilizing any and all strategies and tactics to do so, regardless of who gets thrown under the bus. Program the population to do things and believe things that generates conflicts which are based on things that have nothing to do with the real war, the real campaigns, which is simply the powerful looking for more power, the rich looking for more riches and to consolidate their positions. All of this bloody drama over the centuries is literally nothing more than a business plan for the elites. Some say it might even be a dark ritual mass sacrifice, such as the world wars and such.

We can spend the next century debating the accounting of wrongdoings and weighting/itemizing the compensations of one of the vectors of oppression and exploitation, which was race based. However, time goes on and both lots of black people and lots of other people who have been fucked over in this country, are still getting zilch, zip, nada. Meanwhile the wealthy are laughing at the shitshow and interracial conflict while they continue to grow their positions. If anything is to get done in this society it will need to be a broad economic movement that everyone can get behind, that is focused on fundamental justice and societal upliftment, more so than selective. Otherwise, it will remain a deadlock that will continue to be a source of interracial conflict and hatred. A huge waste of time and energy. Power and wealth will continue to consolidate themselves while the powerless continue fighting over scraps.

  10. I appreciate when Jacqueline comes on to speak but these people are doing too much to avoid giving credit to Yvette and Tone for getting this conversation in the mainstream. At 13:26 they elude to it but won't go so far as to say their names. These blue check groups and dangerous to ADOS because they always have to be sure and say it's isn't about a check. To hell it isn't 😡

  11. Reparations for ADOS need to be federally managed not via whatever individual private colleges, institutions or corporations who’ve in the meantime deemed it important or viable enough thru their own accounting. It may be tempting for so many reasons but we must demand federal accountability because it’s the government’s job to REPAIR the government’s historical horrific practice.

  12. Racism in America is not “a global problem”, altho global racism very much exists. US paying reparations for descendants of slavery who were brought into the USA slave market is an American conversation not a global one.

  13. Wow this man flat out lied and didn’t mention ADOS and Yvette Carnell as to why HR. 40 got off the ground. This man can’t be trusted.

  14. I really think we all need to be educated on this issue. When I see a low percent of Caucasians against reparations I think that makes some think racism. But, hold on, what have we been taught on this important subject? Hardly anything. Today's society sadly don't research a lot. Hardly at all, myself included at times. Social media isn't all that. Human beings being enslaved is disgusting and has ugly consequences that may have caused harm to more than one generation. Yes, we do owe reparations and we need this topic on t.v., news, etc. so we can inform society.

  15. Dr. Winbush knows the recent resurgence of the reparations discussion is due to American Descendants of Slavery, #ADOS, activism. Due to his inflated ego, he refuses to give credit to the grassroots movement responsible for pushing the House to address HR 40, the imperfect bill to study reparations, during this election cycle. Anyone interested in the current reparations movement should go to ados101.com for information.

  16. #1 ONE of the reparations is the OPTION TO RETURN HOME free of charge, and PASSPORT.
#2 Cash for resettlement/home and business.
    #3 TRANSPORTATION OF ANY VEHICLE
    #4 MONEY TO PURCHASE A NEW VEHICLE/MULE
    #5 LAND WITH WATER SOURCES
#6 OUR OWN POLICE FORCES IN OUR COMMUNITIES
#7 OUR OWN HOSPITALS AND DOCTORS
    #8 OUR OWN SCHOOLS
#9 ALL NON-VIOLENT OFFENSES FEDERAL OR OTHERWISE IN 3 STRIKES WIPED CLEAN
#10 NO TAXES FOR 100 YEARS.

  17. Yall watch your comments always tearing down people there only having a discussion and there bringing alot of knowledge to the platform. If your more versed then average doesn't mean your opinion has to be derogatory towards the subject. Someone might think your strong points on the subject is just ramblings or your not an authority in the subject. Why criticize righteousness even if it doesn't serve your specific purpose on the subject their's others that need the education that have no exposure to this information without these platforms. If you can criticize this discussion and fill you have the right to. Then expose your opinions and discussions and show us "others" what other ways there are to approach this subject. Remember this is not a law discussion but a justification discussion. And I'm here ready to listen and learn hopefully everyone is here for the same thing's.

  18. Winbush was deriding the ADOS movement…. initially. He's in B'more so t g ey pulled his tired ass into m the studio. 2001???
