my goodness, this story is about profit and finances, and somehow attracted a whole pile of crazy anti-vaxers. All the crazy commenters here: sign a legal document then that when/if you all get COVID you give your word not to run to a hospital and needlessly 1. exposure staff and 2. insist on hospital treatment. The vaccine so far is proven to keep reaction to infection to low enough level to avoid hospitalization.

As a researcher, I can tell you that those companies are already way too compensated, and don't deserve more money for vaccines based on research paid by public money, starting with the free access to the coronavirus genome thanks to China's decision to share it freely for the common good. Arguments about technology is bogus the same way since the science is paid by governments around the world and performed by many thousands of scientists.

Why not get the sputnik5, a much better vaccine than Johnson&Johnson. It's the same kind of vaccine technology. It's in the neighborhood of Pfizer and moderna.
