7. I didn't know that forced servitude could be included in blue flu. Some of the people involved can't afford to come to work any more. Some may have lost their cars, lost their electricity, lost their water, or even lost their homes. I don't think blue flu is the term here. Slavery comes to mind. Trump is playing the country, and he says he may keep the government shutdown for a year. Who could work without pay for a year? In the USA if you change jobs you start at a lower rate of pay. So these people who have seen the USA steal their paychecks will be going on the job market with a huge unplanned debt into a lower paying job. Obviously Trump's lying is getting worse fast. We don't know what is coming but we know that historically everything Trump touches dies.

14. I honestly find it hard to feel sympathy for TSA workers. They are willingly a part of an oppressive system of invasive and unnecessary security theater.

    On principle, oppressed people should organize, and wish them the best. But I'm not particularly invested in their problems.

15. The TSA is a made up fabrication from the advent of 911 and Homeland security. While feel for these workers and the demented situation that has robbed these people of an income. They are still a made up branch of federal spending. Along with so many others like Homeland and ICE. All of which are drain on tax payers and social services for the American people. It is also my observation that it is also a way to claim running out of money. As well as new forums to funnel money into private hands. Of which I am sure that the politicians have a vested interest in.

I was a single mom of 3 in the 70's and 80's working in restaurants & bars that are famous for being a day late and a dollar short on payday……my policy was always if you can't pay me when you said you would …..I was looking for a job when you hired me….See ya!! It was scary then and I think it's even scarier now…..I watched even back then former co-workers get screwed out of their wages. And I can tell you some of those people who continued to work without pay never did collect….homelessness was not a big problem then…..watch it grow in the near future. Our government under Obama was not ashamed to allow people to be evicted from their homes and this administration ( D's or R's) will not be ashamed that their actions or lack of actions cause harm to our people. The chickens are coming home to roost……as George Carlin said "It's a big club folks and you ain't in it!

If there are airport shutdowns that would leave Amtrak as the only viable public transport and Trump wants to kill that also.
